Here we discuss how to construct culture environment for in vitro fabrication of mature organs from artificially assembled cells. We present issues for realization of spatiotemporally integrated state of culture environment. It is important to understand emergence of organ functions in the body, then it is required to realize proper conditions for functionalization in in vitro culture environment of assembled cells. We call such spatiotemporally integrated state of culture environment as “bio-integrity”. To realize bio-integrity, spatiotemporal measurement of local site around the cell is one of the key technologies. Here we show multi-parameter sensing of local site in a microfluidic chip for monitoring interaction between osteoblast cells and octacalcium phosphate(OCP).
