We collected adults of Orius spp. wintering under the bark of zelkova trees at Meiji University Ikuta Campus in February 2025. All collected adults were mated with females, and all examined females were determined as Orius minutus using multiplex polymerase chain reaction. These results provide important information for understanding the ecological traits of this species during winter.
