In order to set an adequate reliability at the development stage, we have to grasp usage conditions, required levels of reliability, and correlation to lifetime characteristics with them. Actually, we have been working on collecting and analyzing the vehicle operation data. Currently, by our ICT system, various operation data can be transmitted in real time from all vehicles. We are studying how to evaluate and improve reliability by utilizing these big data.
