The study describes an analysis on historic drawings about OKURA MUSEUM OF ART designed by Chuta Ito. There are 43 drawings, these drawings are original drawings, blue prints, microfilms. Only one sheet of drawing has a signature by Chuta Ito. 14 architectural drawings have a common title block. These are the final drawings. There were somehow related to Chuta, and definitely or probably designed by Chuta. These 14 final drawings are not a reduced scale. So it is impossible to build the museum building with these final drawings. I assume there was a backup by Okura Doboku in the construction.

For the plaster finished ceiling in the historic building, aseismic renewal method was developed. The method consists of the earthquake resistance by fixation of the ceiling base and the dropping prevention using mesh sheet and steel wire. Through experiments and numerical analysis, it was verified that the developed aseismic reinforcement method has acquired earthquake resistance performance. Utilizing measurement technology and BIM, we carried out construction with high precision in a short construction period. With this developed aseismic method, we were able to improve the earthquake resistance and fall prevention of the ceiling without changing the existing construction method, materials and appearance.

We developed voice navigation system based on a smartphone for visually impaired people. This system realized high level localization accuracy that has only 1-2 meters average error using PDR and BLE beacons, and timely voice guidance. We conducted user evaluation test with 10 blind and visually impaired people in order to assess use of this system. In this test, they walked in-and-outdoor routes with using this navigation. We evaluated precision of the voice navigation system and clarify the necessary function for their travel using voice guidance.

SfM (Structure from Motion) is a kind of computer vision that creates a point cloud of surrounding scenery and camera poses from photographs. Our previous studies have shown that camera poses and their convenient estimation technique can provide beneficial uses in architectural fields.
This paper reviews the availability of SfM as a pose estimation technique. The availability is studied in two uses: photographic measurement and location-based photograph management. In photographic measurement, camera poses are adequately estimated and measuring results show applicative accuracy. Location-based photograph management proposes a way to plot 3D CAD and a searchable database of new photographs’ poses.
