      In schools, the staff necessarily have the common task of having to understand and resolve children’s health problems. However, the difficulties of understanding such a common task have been pointed out. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to make clear the differences in anxiety about children’s health among position in the school and length of teacher's career. The subjects were 1,636 teachers who were managerial positions, teachers, and yogo teachers in Tokyo’s S city. The investigation was carried out in March, 2015. In this study, anxieties about children’s health among subjects were collected by a questionnaire that consisted of 35 problem phenomena.

      The results are summarized as follows; 1) “allergy,” “unable to sit still in class,” and “hard to sit up straight” were common anxieties among those in managerial positions, teachers, and yogo teachers; 2) anxieties about children’s health among teachers were significantly fewer for those in managerial positions and yogo teachers; 3) anxieties about children's health among teachers who had more than 20 years of teaching experience were significantly greater than for those who had fewer than 10 years of teaching experience. On the other hand, there was no such difference among yogo teachers.

      The above results show that the different anxieties about children's health vary by position in the school and length of teacher's career.

      This study investigated the relationship between physical activities (motor quantity,fundamental movement) during free play in nursery school of 4 years old children and motor abilities,recording by lifecoda and videocamera.

      The result were as follows;

    1) The analysis of motor quantity showed that the number of steps and activity intensity were apt to change depending on children's motor abilities;the number of steps and activity intensity of children with higher motor abilities were higher,and those of children with lower motor abilities were lower.

    2) The analysis of fundamental movement revealed that children with high motor abilities showed higher frequency of movement.However,variation of movement didn’t change whether children’s motor abilities were high or low.

      The number of steps,activity intensity,and frequency of movement showed a significant relationship with the motor abilities of children,while the variation of movement had no relationship with it.

      In the present study, a free description-based survey on the psychological stress of public health nurses involved in health examinations for infants was performed. The subjects were 237 public health nurses who conducted health examinations for infants. The survey period was between August and September 2011, and the acquired data were analyzed. The following five categories were extracted: “a lack of confidence in providing support for people involved in abuse / problems related to knowledge, experience, and education for public health nurses”, “parents’ understanding and awareness of child-related problems and child-raising / difficulty in interacting with parents”, “increases in the numbers of children with development disorder and requiring psychological support”, “being overloaded with work and relationships with superiors, colleagues, and infant health examination staff”, and “a lack of collaboration with other institutions and shortage of social resources”. The concordance rate for the category classification calculated using the formula of Scott was 70 to 79%, which suggests that the reliability of the categories has been established.
