Kamejiro SENAGA (1907-2001) was a politician loved by the Okinawan people regardless of party affiliation. Chihiro Uchimura (Kamejiro's second daughter), the director of the museum, talks about the 10-year efforts of the museum, "Fukutsukan (The Museum of Fortitude): Kamejiro SENAGA and the People's Archives," which preserves and exhibits a vast collection of his memoirs, documents, and other materials, and the importance of the "people's archives".
