Abstract The capital city of Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia has a rapid economic growth since the1990's. However, air pollution has reached a serious level with industrial development. Especially, the exhaustgas emitted from Gers (traditional Mongolian tents) and vehicles has recently become a major environmental problem in Ulaanbaatar city (UB). But there is no fundamental data on air pollution in UB. Therefore the investigation of air pollution would be important and useful for environmental protection data in Mongolia. In this research, volatile organic compound(VOCs) were analyzed and particulates was measured in the air polluted areas in the capital city. Then, the result was visualized. Among the VOCs ingredients, benzene and 1,3-Butadiene in particular showed high concentrations compared with Japanese environmental standards. The total values of VOCs increased from 2010 to 2011. In addition, the concentration of VOCs in winter was higher than that in summer. Keywords [Air pollution, Volatile Organic Compounds, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia]

Abstract By applying the Le Fevre-Rose theory to dropwise condensation heat transfer on a vibrating heat transfer surface, the quantitative and qualitative changes in the heat transfer characteristics of dropwise condensation on a sine vibrating vertica1 surface in the gravity direction were investigated thretica11y. As a result, when the relationa1 equation of the falling limit droplet diameter of a single droplet on the vibrating vertical surface obtained in past studies of authors was applied to the maximum droplet diameter in the Le Fevre-Rose theory, the theoretica1 value calculated by the method and the experimental value were roughly matched. Therefore, in a limited extent, the quantitative and qualitative dropwise condensation heat transfer characteristics on the vibrating vertica1 surface and its increasing rate cou1d be calculated theoretica11y Keywords [Dropwise condensation, Heat transfer characteristic,Vibrating vertical surface,Gravity direction, Theoretica1 analysis]

Abstract Cu2SnS3 thin films have been expected for low-cost and non-toxic absorber materia1 of compound solar cells. However, the reported power conversion efficiencies of Cu2SnS3 based thin fi1ms solar cel1s have unachieved 10% because of unfine Cu2SnS3 film quality. In this work,Cu2SnS3 thin films were prepared through su1furization of evaporated Cu-Sn precursors that Cu/Sn ratios were 2.00 and 1.75. This work found its improvement of generated voids in thin films, absorption, and composition by preparation under conditions: Cu/Sn ratio of 1.75,substrate temperature Ts of 300℃,annealing temperature of 500℃,and deposition rate of 1 Å/s. Cu2SnS3 thin film that were prepared by these conditions showed band gaps of 1.01 eV,absorption coefficient over 104 cm-1 and Cu/Sn ratio of 1.92. Keywords [Cu2SnS3,thin films, solar cell]

Abstract Tin(II) Sulfide (SnS) thin films are one of the most promising materials for high efficiency solar cells without using rare metals. In this work,SnS thin films were deposited on glass substrates by thermal evaporation at different substrate temperatures. SnS thin film prepared at substrate temperature of 300℃ had relatively low resistivity, flat surface and few void. This evaporated film was annealed in H2S atmosphere from 100 to 500℃ for 1 hour. The results of crystalline structure and band gap of the thin film annealed at 200℃ indicated SnS phase and direct energy band gap of 1.25 eV,respectively. Moreover the number of void in the thin film annealed above 300℃ was decreased. Therefore the high quality SnS thin film can be prepared by annealing in H2S atmosphere between 200℃ and 300℃. Absaract At National Institute of Technology, Miyakonojo College(Miyakonojo Kosen), students are required to take English Composition class and English Grammar class during the first two years, through which they leam basic English grammar and grammatical expressions including English usage. In order to make process more efficient, the tegularly see what grammatical items are practically used in daily liver and to prioritize those items to be appropriately presented to the students, since their studying time is limited. This paper descrides what kinds of grammatical items and expressions are frequently used in English newspaper articles, which I hope would help the teaching staff organize more leamer-friendly teaching programs. In the precedent paper. I studied grammatical trends trends in the articles on general topics such as political issues and cultural events. In this paper, I exclusively focused on articles on science and technology. Keywords [English grammar, newspaper article, priority]

Abstract Bullying has become a serious problem at many schools across the nation. We looked at two bullying cases at a college in Kyushu in order to evaluate the procedure taken to urge the bullies to reflect their behavior and help them return to their classes smoothly after suspension. The students were guided to keep a reflection diary every day and to write an essay about the book assigned to them. In Case A,the former half of the diary showed that the student gradually understood that he should not have bullied anyone. On the other hand,in the latter half, reference bullying significantly decreased, while anxiety stemmed from suspension increased. In Case B,the student was able to reflect his behavior smoothly, due to appropriate guidance of teachers related. The study of the two cases brought us to key points of approaching bullying case. We hope this study will lead to more effective rehabilitation program with shorter suspension period. Keywords [Bullying,Student counseling]

Abstract Support of the engineering is necessary to solve agriculture problems such as a decreasing number of farmers,a lack of successors, the TPP,spreading areas of abandoned farmland, state of agricultural affairs, the food situation and so on. The discussion on upbringing of the engineer who has knowledge of agriculture was carried out among Oita,Kagoshima and Miyakonojo colleges, who are members of NIT (National Institute of Technology) partnership cooperation in the previous year. Development of a pilot curriculum for agri-engineering is conducted based on previous study in the partnership program. This report shows a textbook with the agricultural literacy education,a vegetable production system for a plant factory and thermal control experiment for an experiment class in advanced course of NIT,Miyakonojo Col1ege. In addition, various opinions by the advanced course students are introduced and the problems that the problems that the agri-engineering education faces are described.
