Through factor analysis, 15 factors were abstracted, and each of them was named as follows: residents' learning and expressing their opinions, general interests and communication with the community, attitudes towards the postures of administration, attitudes towards the welfare policy, the will to settle or go out, attitudes towards traffic problems, attitudes towards freedom and equal sharing of social benefits, attitudes towards measures to cope with environmental pollution, attitudes towards public welfare, attitudes toward community celebrations, attitudes towards the formation of the future image of the community and methods of its formation, attitudes in elections, attitudes towards compulsory education, the expectation of the comnunities prosperity and pride as residents, human relations in the neighborhood. These factors, however, remain provisional.
The residents who would not settle were low in the degree of general interests and communication with the community, did not expect its prosperity, lacked the pride as residents, and failed in the human relations in the neighborhood.
Those who worked in the city, the new-comers, and the younger residents had critical and cool resident consiousness.
Those who participated in the public hall projects were high in degree of the concern about the community, that is, they felt a sense of closeness to the community, had high interests in it, esteemed things traditional, had good relations with neighbors, and settled firmly. But they pointed out inadequacies in the policy and the institutions of the community, and noticed weak points in it. And they expected that the administration should be developed from the view point of the whole community, not from the narrow interests of small local groups.
