    In this paper, we compared the radioactive material repository around the world and the strata where these are constructed, with the situation in Japan, and also introduced that geological selection studies are being done in Japan. As an indicator of the disposal site candidate, it is very important to grasp rock quality, groundwater pressure, and its ion concentration. There is a possibility that the selective element can be found by analyzing the obtained water quality result / boring result using tools such as AI.

    Japan is the country that experienced the second miserable reactor accident (Fukushima) after Russia (Chernobyl). In addition, it was attacked by an unprecedented tragedy caused by earthquake, tsunami, and four nuclear reactors meltdown, thereby losing all power supply. In the natural world, nuclear power is a technology that generates the substance itself that enables movement from the planet (the earth) where humans live. Nuclear power is an important energy for human prosperity in the future. Ionizing radiation shows a hormesis effect if a small amount of exposure is given, and gives the human a necessary metabolism. The development of scientific technology of radioactive materials, like fire, is a blessing given by great nature. Meanwhile, as a nation, steady implementation of the reactor decommissioning furnace is necessary as a result of nuclear accidents caused by the lack of technical capability. We think that development of this decommissioning technology is an opportunity for national development and should promote technical testing for development of waste furnace technology as one of the most important geological disposal, that is announced by Prof. Tokunaga, advisery board of NUMO.

    Harmless renewable energy is essential for the sustainable prosperity of cultural human beings. It can be said that the use cost (energy cost) is determined by the reliability of scientific safety assessment in rational thinking. However, as in other living things, humanity was lacking in science and technology in the ancient times not prospering. Prosperity can be said to have been created by succeeding evaluation and criteria based on confidence emotions for nature that have been inherited historically. Furthermore, what learned from historical fact is that it is most important not to repeat temporary construction and reasoning to minimize social costs.
