On the test of protective coatings for power transmission towers at the Shiobara 600kV Laboratory of the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry, the result of inspection after one year was given in the previous report (Part 1). And this report is concerned with the results of inspection done in April 1963 after two years' exposure. Conclusions of inspection are as follows:
1) Zinc rich paint system in these coatings showed fewer defects than other kinds of coatings.
2) The phosphoric acid pickling proved to be an effective preparation for coatings.
3) At the common atmospheric conditions, aluminum paint finish showed better results than other coatings.
4) An impedance measurement proved to be effective in judging the deterioration of paint films.
