Nearly two years has passed after changing the administration system of the MOS（Microsoft Office Specialist） qualifying examination, now we get many examinees and become able to maintain a high pass percentage and gather up know-how about a study method and the administration. In this report we describe these educational aspects and administrational kow-how.

Facebook has become a worldwide phenomenon and is currently the most popular social networking service (SNS) by worldwide active users. Being so widely used, its potential for use within educational contexts is promising, and many educators have begun to explore how Facebook can serve educational purposes. This paper will describe and evaluate an online intercultural exchange using Facebook that took place during 2011 between university students (N=65) in Indonesia and Japan. Questionnaire results indicated that students thought the exchange was beneficial because they were able to learn about another culture and its people while improving their English.

The diatom community of brackish water area in the Asake-gawa River Estuary, Mie prefecture, were investigated. A total of 75 taxa, distributed among 24 genera, were recorded in an epilithic diatom sample. Dominant taxa in the area were Melosira varians (60.4%), Cymbella tumida (17.2%) and Melosira undulata (11.2%).

Yoshio Mikami and Li Yan are the pioneers of the study of mathematical history in East Asia. They were corresponding about the study of mathematical history from 1914 to 1937. Mr. Li wrote Mr. Mikami 45 letters for over these 23 years. Mr. Sadao Fuji'i dicovered the letters before 2004, and published the list in “Mikami Yoshio's Remaining Manuscripts Catalogue” in 2004. This discovery of Mr. Fuji'i is very significant for researching the exchanging history of the study of mathematical history between China and Japan.
