To confirm the efficacy against fleas and ticks for 7 months, 17 dogs were divided into a new collar group and a control collar group.
As compared with a control collar group, a new collar group proved to have a good initial efficacy and a long lasting efficacy. No side effect was observed.

Within the past about 7 years, a causal relationship has been reported between vaccination and the development of fibrosarcomas at injection sites in cat, and the fibrosarcoma were called Postvaccinal sarcoma (PVS). PVS may not only occur at injection site of vaccine for rabies and feline leukemia virus injection, but also may occur at that of feline triple vaccine. The most common body locations where PVS was detected, were dorsal cervix and inter scapular region, and these sites are common sites of vaccination. Feline fibrosarcoma is common sarcoma of cutaneous and subcutaneous region, but feline fibrosarcomas at non vaccination sites (NVS) were almost occurred at digits and head. In this case, sarcoma developed at inter scapular subcutaneous and muscular region of vaccination. This is the first case of PVS at the site of injection with feline triple vaccine in Japan.
