Experiments have been performed for a turbulent channel flow obstructed by two parallel triangular cylinders in tandem arrangement. The triangular cylinder of two kinds of the angle is used. The first and second triangular cylinders are same shape. The clearance between the wall and the triangular cylinder is changed in three steps. The distance between two triangular cylinders is varied from 80mm to 300mm. The particle image velocimetry (PIV) has been applied to measure the fluid flow around the triangular cylinder. When the clearance is small (S=1mm), local Nuseelt number becomes large just under the second cylinder. At the large clearance (S=5mm), the vortex shedding is observed at the first cylinder, however, it disappear at the second cylinder.

The volcanic eruption occurs due to the sudden decompression of the high-pressure high temperature high viscosity magma. It is mainly depended on the appearance of the gas phase in the magma whether it is an explosive eruption or not In the present study, the volcanic eruption is reproduced with the high-pressure visible shock tube apparatus and simulant materials. The simulant materials for the magma are two-fluid component of silicone oil as high viscosity fluid and acetone as volatile substance. In the experiment, the bubble forming behavior of the simulant materials and the rapid change in pressure is observed. Bubble forming behavior had completed in very short span and then bubbles developed. The number of bubbles that generated under sudden decompression increased as the initial pressure increased. It is indicated from the experimental results that the driving force of bubble forming under sudden decompression depends on the initial pressure.

Surge and rotating stall often damage a compression system. Ishii et al showed the possibility of these unsteady phenomena occurring simultaneously in an axial compressor. In this paper, we examined relation between surge and rotating stall in a small centrifugal compressor. Our experimental results showed that both surge and rotating stall occurred simultaneously in the test centrifugal compressor.

This paper describes study on pressure-compensated flow control valve for water hydraulics. A pressure-compensation valve with two throttles in series was installed to suppress cavitation. A pressure-compensation valve has hydrostatic supports to reduce the friction and has a damper to reduce vibration of the valve. The developed flow control valve has adjustable flowrate range of 2.5-20L/min within pressure range of 2-14MPa. Although there are some leakage through hydrostatic supports, discharge flowrate remains almost constant. Flowrate variations is almost 5% in the experimental range. The static characteristics show no hysteresis. The valve is dynamically stable, i.e., no sustained vibration was observed in the range of experiment.

This paper deals with influence of valve deformation of water hydraulic relief valve on the valve performance. To suppress cavitation, two serial throttles are employed. Intermediate pressure at the space between the two throttles is determined by the ratio of openings of each throttle. In operation, valve deformation changes valve opening; thus the intermediate pressure changes. The influence of the valve deformation is large when the valve displacement is small and the pressure difference across the throttle is large. The valve deformation under various pressures is calculated using ANSYS 9.0. The results of the numerical analysis is used to estimate value characteristics.

This paper discusses methods for measuring and evaluating the filtration performance of hydraulic filters and introduces a quasi-single-pass test method. One, well-known method for evaluating filtration characteristics is the multi-pass method. Although the multi-pass test method was specified by the ISO 16889, it allowed changes of upstream contamination level. With the test method, therefore, one can not detect influence of upstream contamination level on filtration performance of fluid power filters. On the contrary, the quasi-single-pass test carried out in this study can reveal influence of upstream contamination level and flow velocity. Experimental results show non-linear characters of filtration performance of fluid power filters.

It is requested to develop a small and highly efficient heat exchanger for small size energy equipment such as fuel cells and CO_2 heat pumps. In the present study, the high pressure resistant micro-channel stacked heat exchanger had been developed The heat transfer area for each volume of this device is quite large. Since the distance between the micro-channels in the device is small, the thermal resistance is small. This device can bear for very high pressure condition since the device is main factored by the diffused bond method Due to the very high pressure resistance, this device can be used for high flow rate condition with boiling and condensation. As the results, it is clarified that above features make the device to archive very high performance more than hundred times larger heat transfer rate than the existing heat exchanger.

Flow and Heat transfer characteristics of the boiling two-phase flow of water in flat mini-rectangular-channels were examined. The cross-section was 0.5x10 or 0.2x10mm and the length was 250mm including 50mm heating length. When the heat flux was low, the heat transfer coefficient agreed well with the value of the Dittus-Boelter's correlation. The onset condition of boiling was well predicted by the Bergles-Rohsenow's correlation. After the boiling was initiated, the heat flux was lower than values of Rohsenow saturated-pool boiling correlation. This tendency became more prominent in the 0.2mm gap case. The pressure drop of the subcooled flow and the transition condition from laminar flow to turbulent flow were well expressed with the correlations for the conventional size. The boiling two-phase flow pressure drop was lower than the prediction by the correlations for the conventional size and close to the correlation for a mini tube.

The internal leakage of a screw type fluid machine influences the performance. Although the non-contact seal is effective in reducing leakage, the design is based on experiential technique. In order to reduce the amount of leakage, flow filed passed the non-contact seal are investigated by the ALE simulation method. Consequently, It become clear the effect of non-contact seal for a reduction of flow coefficient.

Heat exchange performance of two stream counter-flow type gas-gas micro heat exchangers has been investigated numerically. The flow passages of the micro heat exchangers are parallel-plate channels whose height ranges from 10 to 100μm and the length selected are 12.7 and 25.4mm. The numerical methodology is based on Arbitrary-Lagrangian-Eulerian method. The computations were performed for a wide range of the flow rate ratio to obtain the effect of the flow rate ratio, the channel height and the channel length on the rate of heat transfer. The results are presented as a form of temperature contour and the correlation between the effectiveness and Ntu is discussed.

Poiseuille number, the product of friction factor and Reynolds number (f・Re) for quasi-fully developed flow in a micro-tube was obtained in slip flow regime. The numerical methodology is based on the Arbitrary-Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) method. Two-dimensional compressible momentum and energy equations were solved for a wide range of Reynolds and Mach numbers for CWT (constant wall temperature) that is higher or lower than inlet temperature. The tube diameter ranges from 3 to 10μm and the tube aspect ratio is 200. The stagnation pressure, p_<stg> is chosen in such away that the exit Mach number ranges from 0.1 to 1.0. The outlet pressure is fixed at the atmospheric pressure. Mach and Knudsen numbers are systematically varied to determine their effects on f・Re. The correlation for f・Re of the slip flow is obtained from numerical results. It was found that f・Re is mainly a function of Mach number and Knudsen number and is different from the values obtained by 64/(1+8Kn), from the incompressible flow theory. The obtained f・Re correlations are applicable to both no-slip and slip flow regimes.

The efficiency of electronic elements such as LSI or CPU will be high and the thermal emission of components will increase considerably high in near future. It is predicted higher than 300W/cm^2 that is emitted from an inverter or a power regulator used in FVC (Fuel Cell Vehicle) and compact power plants. It is considerably difficult to remove the high heat from the electronic components by the conventional cooling technology. In highly subcooled boiling, microbubble emission boiling occurs and the heat flux increases higher than the ordinary critical heat flux. An active-passive cooling device with dual channel and multi-needle nozzle was manufactured for power electronics use and tested. The maximum cooling heat flux obtained was 500W/cm^2 using microbubble emission boiling.

Onset of nucleate boiling -ONB- and critical heat flux -CHF- on subcooled flow boiling under oscillatory flow and vibration conditions, focusing on liquid velocity, amplitude and frequency of oscillations were investigated experimentally. Experiments were conducted. using a copper thin-film and subcooled water in a range of the liquid velocity from 0.27 to 4.07m/s at 0.10MPa. The liquid subcooling was 20K. Frequency of oscillatory flow was 2, 4 and 6Hz, respectively; amplitude of oscillatory flow was 25 and 50% in a ratio of main flow rate, respectively. For the vibration condition, acceleration of vibrator was 1.3 and 4.2m/s2, respectively. Temperature at ONB and critical heat flux for oscillatory flow were lower than those for steady flow. The decreasing of liquid velocity by oscillatory caused the ONB and the CHF to decrease. The effects of liquid oscillatory flow on the incipient boiling temperature were examined through a classical stability theory of preexisting nuclei. Critical heat flux for the vibration condition was higher than that for steady flow. Coalesced bubble on a heater was frequently released by the vibration of a test section.

Phase change heat transfer is being paid increased attention for cooling next-generation electronic devices. Using the latent heat of vaporization, cooling modules may achieve an unprecedented level of heat flux, while limiting the surface temperature. The present study developed a test module to examine the effects of porous plating on boiling heat transfer on a flat surface. In the experiments using an organic refrigerant HFE-7100, the plated surface consistently provided bubble nucleation sites on the heated surface, resulting in lowering the temperature for incipient boiling and a maximum of 70 percent increase in heat flux compared to a flat surface without plating. The increased number of nucleation sites also allowed limiting the diameter of departing bubbles, an important effect when this plating is considered for microchannels whose width may be on the order of the bubble size. It is speculated that this is due to the surface morphology of the porous plating as well as the thermophysical properties of the fluids.

This paper deals with an experimental study on the performance of a new type of heat transportation pipe utilizing self induced oscillatory flow. The pipe is heated at its bottom and cooled at its top. Experimental setup was composed of heating part, heat transportation part, cooling part and loop part. Self induced oscillatory flow was generated by generation and extinction of bubbles at the bottom of the heat transportation pipe. We measured the amplitude and frequency of the self induced oscillatory flow, temperature distribution in the pipe and heat transfer rate.

Experimental researches have been conducted to improve the regeneration performance of regenerator of the α type Stirling engine. The attention was mainly paid to the dead volume, pressure losses and actual heat transfer, which depends on the performance of Stirling engine operations. Two type of regenerator, which has a cross section of cylinder or rectangular was prepared for number of stainless mesh. The results show that the pressure losses in the cylinder type regenerator decreases for that in the rectangular type in whole conditions examined. It is obtained that the optimum amount of stainless mesh as regenerator matrixes determined for the operating conditions. It is also concluded that the regeneration rate of cylinder type regenerator has higher performance than that of rectangular type.

Under the micro gravity environment, it is possible to hold a liquid drop without using container. The electrostatic levitation is one of containerless processing techniques, and thermo-physical properties of high temperature molted metals have been measured by using it For example, the surface tension has been estimated by the resonance frequency with an oscillating drop method. This method is based on theoretical equations derived under linear approximations. However, the levitating liquid drop includes nonlinear effects and they should be taken into account for highly precise measurements of physical properties. The objective of the present study is to investigate nonlinear effects of the levitating liquid drop in fluid dynamics point of view. In this experiment, the liquid drop is levitated by Electrostatic Force and the axisymmetric oscillation and the horizontal rotation are applied. Experimental results of the change of resonance frequency on the oscillation and the rotation liquid drop agree with the theoretical prediction.

Experimental study has been carried out to obtain the detail information about the occurrence of micro-explosion in a burning emulsion droplet using by high speed visualization technique and acoustic emission (AE) measurement. A n-hexadecane in water emulsion droplet, which was suspended at the tip of a quartz fiber was burning in a quiescent air environment. The fiber was mounted at the center of sufficiently large cylindrical block. AE sensor was also mounted at the extension of the fiber on the opposite side of the block. The results indicate that the intensity of micro-explosion could be determined by the measured AE signals relatively. The distribution function of micro-explosion intensity was also obtained.

This paper deals with an experimental study of ice piece separation on a cooling surface. We used 1wt% NaOH-water solution as a heat storage material. Gas bubbles were generated on the cooling surface by supplying DC current. The generated gas bubbles separated the ice pieces. We found that the generated gas bubbles could separate the ice pieces in an only range of temperature. Heat transfer coefficients with and without ice piece formation increased with increasing gas bubble generation rate. We also found that the heat transfer with ice pieces formation by the smooth cooling surface was more than the heat transfer with ice pieces formation by the rough cooling surface.

Experimental study has been conducted to obtain the high performance agitation with low power and low shear force in the mixing tank with high height and small spaces. New type of agitator, which combined the draft tube installed in the mixing tank was presented. The mixing time was measure for improving for the several cases of the draft tube and the baffle mounting. The results show that the mixing time with the case of draft tube adding the secondary baffle was shortened than the baffle condition. It is also observed that there has an optimum diameter of the draft tube, in which an inside space in the draft tube equal to outer one, has a minimum values of the mixing time. It is suggested that a relative size of the agitation blade in the draft tube diameter largely affects on the mixing characteristics.

Fracture toughness test of bioceramics using zirconia compact tension specimen was carried out in air and water. During this test acoustic emission signal emitted by microcrack nucleation were recorded by piezoelectric transducers. The response function of the specimen was determined by pencil lead breaking used as a simulated source. Then acoustic emission source function emitted by microcrack nucleation was also determined by inverse calculation using obtained response function. From acoustic emission source function, size and nucleation velocity of microcrack were understood. Consequently, it was understood that microcracks with 3.8〜10μm of radius were nucleated in air. On the other hand, in water, the radius was 3.2〜18μm. Then quantitative microcrack characterization was carried out.

AE monitoring was conducted during proof tests of the high-purity alumina ceramics in order to detect microdamages which might degradate the strength of surviving components. The tested material in this study is the bioceramics used in artificial joints for total hip replacement (THR). Surviving specimens showed two types of AE behaviors, with or without increasing point of AE energy. Specimens without increasing point of AE energy showed higher residual strength than specimens with the AE increasing point. In addition, the average strength of specimens without increasing point of AE energy was higher than specimens which survived the conventional proof test. The AE source location during measured residual strength demonstrated that the maincrack formed during proof tests were propagated to final unstable fracture during residual strength tests. Furthermore, time to the maincrack formation was investigated. Consequently, it was understood that the proof test with AE monitoring of microdamage enhances significantly the reliability of bioceramics.

In this paper, the relation to the bone union was clarified by measuring the bone in vivo strain with a strain gauge. First of all, the device which measures a load in vivo for a long time with a strain gauge system is developed, and, as a result, it was able to be done that the bone in vivo strain was stably measured for 20 days. Next, result of measuring fracture model by using this system, it was able to be confirmed that it began to be able to do a callus during about the seventh day of after the operation in the fracture part, and dynamic strength of the bone rose rapidly with the progress of the bone union then, too.

This research investigated joint of the bone and the ligament in bone tunnel. The hole of 1mm diameter was made for the upper part of the tibia and the hole of 1mm, 1.5mm, and 2mm diameters was made under the tibia and the ligament was inserted. From the hole under the shinbone, the sample using three of the calcium phosphate paste, the alpha-cyanoacrylate adhesive was made, and the starch paste kinds of adhesive. Tensile tests at displacement rate of 1mm/s were performed. The alpha-cyanoacrylate adhesive force was significantly higher (p<0.01) than starch paste force. The calcium phosphate paste force was significantly higher (p<0.01) than starch paste force. The force increases in proportion to increase of amount of the injection of the adhesive.

This paper describes the results that the effect of the cell migration was evaluated on various micro-processing surfaces. The properties of the cell migration showed that the migratory distance on tip cutting and bonded abrasive surfaces increased in parallel to the cutting direction, and the tendency was more remarkable in the tip cutting. The migratory distance progressed to the indefinite direction on the groove with the loose abrasion and crack transmission. In above results, the properties of cell migration on the removal micro-processing surfaces was concluded that the migratory distance was suppressed in the boundary over the heterogeneous height with approximately 20μm.

In this study, clavicle reconciled plates of titanium alloy are examined for mechanical properties. In particular, strain curves are measured on axial direction of bone plate, and properties of stress distribution are observed by infrared rays method under dynamic compression. The results obtained are as follows: 1) Shape of hook and plate effects on increase of strain under dynamic compressive load F_<max>=147N. 2) Shape of hook and plate effects on stress distribution. 3) Infrared rays method is applicable to relative evaluation on mechanical properties of biological materials.

To investigate the mechanism of pulse wave propagation and reflection in human arteries and to propose the manner of utilization is the object of this study. The experimental apparatus simulating the human circulatory system composed of silicon tube to examine the pulse wave propagation and reflection with and without branches is developed. Special focus is paid on the effect of seven parameters affecting waveform, PWV (Pulse Wave Velocity) and PV Loop (Pressure-Velocity Loop). As a result, PV Loop is found to include more information on the tube characteristics, impedance, boundary condition, tube connection construction and reflection situations compared with PWV.

Stromal cells obtained from the synovial membrane of porcine knee joints were cultured in DMEM in monolayer in the presence of ascorbic acid 2-phosphate. In seven days, the monolayer cell/matrix complex was detached from the culture dish to allow active contraction of the cell/matrix complex for 8 hours, for the development of a 3-D bioengineered tissue (3DBT). A round-shaped chondral defect of 8mm in diameter and 1.5mm in depth was created on the medial condyle of the porcine femur. The defect was filled with the 3DBT, and the porcine was allowed cage activity. Six months after the surgery, a cylindrically shaped cartilage-subchondral bone specimen of 4mm in diameter and 5-8mm in depth was extracted and subjected to quasi-static and dynamic compression tests as well as reciprocal friction test. In quasi-static compression test, a rate-dependency was observed in the repaired tissue with 3DBT in the same way observed in normal cartilage; the tangent modulus was higher with the increase of elongation rate. In contrast, no rate-dependency was observed in the tissue in the untreated defect. In dynamic compression test, the strain of the repaired tissue without 3DBT continuously increased as time passed, and did not reach to equilibrium. In contrast, the strain of the repaired tissue with 3DBT kept the same level as that of normal cartilage. In friction test, the coefficient of friction of the repaired tissue with the 3DBT against glass plates was similar level to that of normal cartilage. These results suggested that compressive and frictional properties of the cartilage regenerated by the use of 3DBT were restored, except for dynamic compressive property.

A content of the learning process due to raise the intensity of the independent activity was investigated on the educational content model for manual cutting. From the result for the slippage of cutting hour and truncation error in the cutting test with the double edged manual saw, the pupil greatly sensed the slippage of the body reaction, especially in the difference between the selections of the serration. Above slippage for the operation of cutting performance and accuracy in the manual sawing was correspondent to the psychological slippage. The result revealed that it was possible to perform the manual sawing operation in basis on the evaluation of independent activity of the slippage. In addition, the manual sawing operation, which utilized the difference between the selections of the serration in the learning of cutting processing, was easy to sense the slippage of the operation, and the difference included the element to raise the independent activity.

Authors developed a small-sized desktop and low-cost observation device that shows CO_2 concentration changes in real time, aiming that people can experience CO_2 absorption of plants by themselves. The observation device can measure and display CO_2 concentration changes just by putting the small plants inside. Besides, the device enables to accept a certain range of plant size and control environment around the plant for the variety of experiments. Having visitors use the device at the event, "Eco Products 2006", authors found out that they could try some experiments by themselves with the developed device.

In recent years, in the manufacturing industry of Japan, the ratio of the applicant for a job to the manufacturing industry is decreasing, and a sense of crisis has arisen to the future of the manufacturing industry. Then, development of attractive teaching materials and a practical technical-education program is demanded for training of young engineers. In this paper, new teaching materials are proposed for the subject research in the third-year student in the technical high school. The system considered the user's ease to use is manufactured based on a PDCA cycle. The new teaching materials which can feel the pleasure of the production are developed.

This paper describes the advantage of Monozukuri education (creative engineering education) for students to foster their creativity based on experience in teaching and practicing PBL during graduation research at technical colleges. This Monozukuri education includes having fifth graders experience teaching fourth graders students, having the students experience many drawings and processes, and PBL, and solve problems which occur when operating 5-inch gauge locomotive models which they have developed. As a result, fifth grade students have been able to accumulate the required knowledge for fostering creativity, and practicing machining skills and drawing skills through teaching. Student creativity was also promoted by PBL that includes finding solutions to problems, carrying out investigations, devising solutions, while test running locomotive models. These results show that Monozukuri education is effective for improving practicing ability and creativity.

The drawing is an important method to inform other people of the shape. We try to lecture fundamental drawing in the handwrite drawing and the CAD drawing. We investigate the educative effect of the both ways to the students and show the investigated results. It is possible to raise the educative effect by attending both lectures. The students recognize that handwrite drawing is the basis of the drawing and CAD drawing will be useful in the future. The students are interested in the CAD drawing compared with the handwrite drawing. We have same results in our investigation for five years.

We developed curriculum on medical engineering for working engineers,especially those who are from S & E enterprises. Textbooks for 3 courses were developed; Medical Technology & Equipment, Manufacturing Process & Industrial Engineering and are scheduled to be used for master course in Kobe University in coming April. Each courses are comprised of not only 12 lessons but experiments and internship. What we tried is to introduce realistic manufacuturing cases into textbooks as much as possible. This paper describes progress of our curriculum development as well as preparation for launching MS course at Kobe University.

The course attendees are requested to exhibit their own initiatives in the areas of their own interest, and are required to submit a semester report which includes a proposal of an industry information system of their own interest. At the end of the semester, all course attendees have opportunities to present outcomes of their studies and to discuss with their classmates and lecturer on their own subjects both orally and in a written form. During this process, the course attendees can widen and deepen their understanding of the course subjects of their own interest, in particular, with their enhanced motivation, leading to their finding of prospective, career opportunities and further research topics/themes.

The author has taught a course entitled "The Contemporary Economy of Japan" in Fall Semester of Year 2003 for a total of fourteen, American, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Venezuelan undergraduate students at Tokyo Center of the Institute for the International Education of Students (IES), headquartered in Chicago. All these students were registered at their home universities throughout the continental United States. The approaches similar to those shown in the author's previous reports, including coach learning, were applied to the subject course, with the following, special care taken for the students. Those course attendees were requested to submit their home works, such as construction of a comparative economic history of their own home nations (or states) and Japan, at an early stage of the semester, and they were encouraged to conduct studies of economic relationship between their home nations (or states) and Japan for their final semester report. It was also encouraged for the students to exchange information of their mutual home nations and/or states to improve their reports. In addition, the students had valuable experiences during their field trips to leading Japanese financial, economic research, and trade institutions. At the end of the semester, all course attendees had opportunities to present outcomes of their studies and to discuss with their classmates and lecturer on their own subjects both orally and in a written form. The students, therefore, had an opportunity to improve their own reports before they submitted the final reports. During this process, the course attendees could widen and deepen their understanding of the course subjects of their own interest, in particular, with their enhanced motivation, leading to their finding of prospective, career opportunities and further research topics and themes they may wish to pursue.

After the Meiji Restoration, a watch came into wide use rapidly, and became "The Symbol of the Civilization and Enlightenment". At that time, One watch each was handcrafted by "Watch Craftsman". After that, a Machine-tool was developed, and mass production was done, and a watch came into wide use. A watch shows "the time" when it is with our life, and it is one of the machines which cannot lack. The ancient people made an exclusive Tool and Machine-Tool to spread a watch. In this study, I investigated a tool and the change of a Small-Machine-Tool to produce parts of a watch.

Gas-Den (Predecessor of Hino Motors Ltd. and Komatsu Zenoah Co.) produced Japan's first domestic designed air cooled radial Aero-Engine in 1928. It was named as "Shimpu" or called sometimes as "Jimpu" or "Kamikaze" meaning of divine wind. One of the characteristics of this engine is an installation of "Mixing Fan" that is a distributor of mixture gas for radial arranged cylinders. This paper describes how to applied this unique idea on this Japanese first aero engine and what was the origin. The original "Shimpu" has been stored at the Tokyo Metropolitan College of Industrial Technology (TMCIT). Therefore, its Mixing Fan on the engine has surveyed by fiber scope and confirmed.

The model production of Brunel's atmospheric railway is mentioned by this report. Isambard Kingdom Brunel was an active great engineer in Victoria dynasty days of the Industrial Revolution term latter half. A good result couldn't get it though he tried the construction of the atmospheric railway. But, a challenge as his engineer was given to praise. An exhibition model was made to introduce his challenge. A movement model was completed tentatively. This production model will be the exhibit which is good for introducing Brunel's works.

During the 19 century, Isambard Kingdom Brunel challenged to serve a unique railway from Exeter to Starcross, South Devon, England. The railway was called Atmospheric Railway. It was driven by pressure difference between front and rear faces of a piston in a pipeline laid beneath the center of the track. The railway became bankrupt after six months because of insufficient drive force, material wear and tear, undeveloped communication system between train and pump-station, etc. The authors present a technical possibility of Brunel's atmospheric railway systems as a small size local transport sector and examine its commercial and practical application. We shall be able to accomplish the railway systems, which were unsuccessful during Brunel ages, by applying the today's technologies and materials.

The authors studied Fujiwara's water-wheels for irrigation which were built at Kazusa region in Chiba prefecture. They surveyed literature on bucket chain conveyor system for water in the Edo period. There were 3 materials concerned with Fujiwara's water-wheel. The authors restored Fujiwara's water-wheel bucket which was drawn on the Report of Archaeological Investigation carried out the Fujiwara-Type scoop wheel, No. 1 and 2 in Yoro, Ichihara city, Chiba prefecture. They compared data of Fujiwara's water-wheel bucket restored with data of literature for Fujiwara's water-wheel. Fujiwara's water-wheel power was calculated from data of the bucket restored.
