The program for the school child with whom six players played a game by the free position rule was designed as a continuance research on the scouting program development. The scouting information of the opponent team was collected by using three programs of the serve reception scout, the attacking scout, and the defense scout as well as the scouting program for adults who reported last time. Because the program opera tion was executed to analyze by clicking the mouse, the scouting information was easily collected in the school child volleyball team where the expert of an analyst did not reside.

This paper is the second report on Touch Volley after Vol. 6 No. 1 of Journal of Volleyball Sciences. This paper describes the outline of Touch Volley, an evaluation of the progress of each user's data input manipulation to this system and a Video Link. Touch Volley is a volleyball tactical support system. Each computer implements a touch sensor function in the display. The developed system consists of 3 functions: Data Input. Tactical Support and Data Analysis. In the Data Input function, the user inputs game data by touching display directly. If 2 laptop personal computers are connected by LAN, the user can use the Tactical Support function during the game. This function receives a game data from Data Input function of the other laptop PC. After the game, the user can analyze details of the game data through the Data Analysis function. After the game, the user can pick up some of the plays and compare them, and the cause of the poor plays can be found. We evaluated the system itself through the actual game to check the usability and reliability of each user's data input manipulation. From the experimental results, several trials are needed for the full command of the system. We have incorporated Video System into Touch Volley. The Video System can record volleyball games and playback the video by referring to the analysis results. On inputting the Data, the user can choose the Recording Video function from the function list. Starting of the video recording is synchronized with that of the data input. The scene of scoring and spiking (or serving) by the player can be searched by the analysis results. The Video System makes the player aware of their good and bad points immediately.
