Acidic deposition on leaves of
Prunus mume was investigated in decline areas of
Prunus mume around Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture. The detected NO
3- quantity was 45.2 μmol/m
2 in decline area and 32.9 μmol/ m
2 in non-decline areas. Additionally, relatively high amounts of deposition was observed on fi ne days. It is suggested that acidic deposition, especially dry deposition, infl uences the quantity on leafs of
Prunus mume in decline areas.
