The purpose of this article is to find out the causes of warp-breakage and to investigate how is the warp fatigued during weaving on each place where the warp recieves various forces.
The results are as follows :
1) The less the crookedness of warp-path is the less warp is fatigued.
2) The less the stroke of a reed and the bamping are the less warp is fatigued.
3) The correlativity between warp-breakage and warp-path or warp breaking force is little.
4) For a measure to counter warp-breakage, it is the best way to make a good warp beam by careful process.
5) Our experimental apparatus is useful to investigate the fatigue of warp effectively as if in a real weaving process.
