In manufacturing education, it is important factor that learners build and program a robot to understand its mechanism. In this research, we propose a novel robot hand, Cardboard Robot Hand, CbR Hand for STEM education. CbR Hand is a tendon-driven robot hand that incorporates an origami structure and can be manufactured from a single piece of cardboard, so it can be used widely from primary education to higher education. In this paper, we describe the method of manufacturing it, the mechanical properties of its fingers, and the evaluation of gripping performance. The evaluation experiment showed that CbR Hand can be gripped daily necessities with a mass of less than 200g and the same size as the hand.
