As in the current Course of Study, we are instructed to make much use of local art museums. The instructed usage is that enhancing appreciation of art works in all school-grades depending on each school and pupils' situation. Therefore, Osaka City State Schools have been building up a closer connection with Osaka City Art Gallery for the last decade. In this thesis, I would like to investigate the effect and the problems to be solved in this collaboration through retracing the history of this connection. Also, I will explore guiding principles for the connection from the view of school education.

In conclusion, this thesis clearly shows us the factors in order to promote the collaboration for the next step. These factors were elicited from investigating the problems to be solved in the 3 Display Projects.
