The purpose of this paper is to make clear the issues of development of art markets and of artist employment, in the face of the recognized fact that management will strict to its customary demanding role. Especially, what are the restrictions on the activities of art, i, e., the artists' freedom of expression, by such faces as current accounting regulations. Therefore, discussed in this paper is the question of how to settle various issues of art management from the viewpoint of product-mix, using numerous references to the everyday realities of one particular Tokyo-based Orchestra.

In this research, it has a main purpose of making the managing actual condition of private theaters clear, utilizing security reports. Aiming at the part of the sales profit and loss in the statements of profit and loss, it has analyzed the contents with proceeds and expenses of 7 companies-KABUKIZA, KOMA STADIUM, SHOCHIKU, SHINBASHI ENBUJO, TOHO, MISONOZA and MEIJIZA. About 5 companies except for SHINBASHI ENBUJO and MEIJIZA, it has verified the time series change of proceeds and expenses, using the JDB corporation finance data bank. As a result of the analysis, the managing actual condition of commercial theaters in my country has been roughly grasped.

The development of marketing as a set of logistics to increase visitor numbers among local authority museums in Britain stagnated or diminished in recent years, despite the promotion of it for the sector since the late 1980s. This paper identifies practical reasons such as a lack of resources for the decline. It then argues that three distinctive features of museum organization lead to inherent conflicts with marketing. The features discussed include the importance of collections, museums as professional bureaucracy and the multiplicity and heterogeneity in organizational function and goal. The paper concludes by suggesting future research issues for museum marketing.

In Japan, the importance is increasing to conserve the landscape which was spoiled rapidly by the economical growth and urbanization. In this paper, meaning of national trust method which is to manage and conserve the property by acquiring the ownership, has been considered in relation to other method conserving the landscape. In addition, national trust method was categorized into 3 types i. e. government leading, mixed and civil leading, and merit and demerit of them was analyzed. In conclusion, some directions to conserve the landscape was showed.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the present situation of cultural activities in the community areas. Especially, we pay attention to cultural activities by voluntary circles in community centers-“KOMINKAN”-in Nara-city. Activities of voluntary circles are classified into 3 patterns by the purpose. The main purposes are directed at the stage when the circles are organized. The present situation of activities, the frequency at which they are held and the problems involved in circles are different among the circles. The reasons why the actively working circles use the community centers KOMINKAN are that the rental charge of them is free and that they are located at the place of good traffic convenience in community area. However, there are some dissatisfactions with difficulty in booking the centers and with small parking area among people, and hence it is expected that the facilities which people can use freely should be provided.
