The primary purpose of this study is evaluation on handrail with shape of waves. The question we have to ask here is the shape of cross section of the stairs shifts with the shape of the handrail. The observation of took place in installation location of this handrail. I noticed a few things that the usage pattern that the manufacturer intends is achieved. 1. When the stairs steps position is at the position the handrail concavely in the going up operation. 2. When the stairs steps position is at the horizontal shape position in the down stairs operation. It is worth noting that the best relation between the handrail holding position and the stairs has the difference also depending on the user's age and motor function of body. The results in the present investigation suggest that as for such a control is difficult, the introduction of the handrail in the future should be careful in public facilities.

Japan's vision for national development through promotional campaigns aiming to make it a globally recognized destination for tourists is intended to disseminate the concept of guaranteeing everyone open access to opportunities for tourism. What does it mean to celebrate wide access to opportunities for all tourists in contemporary society? If tourism is a significant factor that forms a part of people's lives, it is impossible to neglect people who are alienated or marginalized from its framework, even if tourism is actually conducted on the basis of consumption activities. This study seeks to promote a paradigm shift from the idea of tourism as a consumption activity to the idea of facilitating broad access to opportunities for tourism from the vantage point of individual rights. By looking upon the current situation as the development process to establishing the concept of the individual rights of tourism with a focus on tourism industries abroad, the paper approaches how to pave the way for barrier-free tourism for all people from diverse backgrounds, including people with disabilities. The paper also examines social initiatives for realizing this ideal.
