In former report on the galvanic condition of ship's propeller shaft, we proposed the necessity of protection from corrosion of the shaft arrangement, and we suggested the following practical methods:
1) To adopt some ways to reduce the surface on the propeller shaft arrangement which may react as cathode to the ships bottom.
2) To keep a good conductive circuit between the ship's hull and propeller shaft.
3) To set directly galvanic anodes of proper size on the propeller or on its shaft.
In this paper we report on an actual experiment of anodes in 3) item.
