One rare case of neuroblastoma, which seemed to arise from the left cheek some sympathetic neuron, is reported.
The case was a 13-year-old male, and left cheek swelling started after removal of 3deciduous teeth. We needed an electronograph to diagnose “neuroblastoma” assertively.
In spite of radiation therapy and combination chemotherapy, the patient died of multiple bone metastasis and a dynamic ileus seven months after the onset of disease.

About 15,000 emergent otorhinolaryngology patients, came to our hospital during extrahours.
Compared with the total number of otorhinolaryngology patients, the rate of the extrahour patients are increasing, and the rate of otitis media of infants is still large.
As for emergent admission, the rate of foreign body in esophagus is incerasin g. There are, possibly, many other factors which affect the changes of the extrahours patients.
We feel that primary care accomondations of otorhinolaryngology should be provided.

During thyroidectomy on a 69-year-old woman with thyroid tumor, the right nonrecurrent laryngeal nerve was encountered. It was rare and on the right side exclusively. Due to its abnormal course and position, the risk of injury to this nerve is high during thyroid surgery.
Thyroidectomy was performed using a standard collar incision with retraction of the strap muscles. The right recurrent laryngeal nerve was not present in the right tracheoesophageal groove. On further dissection, a right non-recurrent laryngeal nerve was found emerging from under the carotid sheath and taking a transverse source to enter the larynx. The nerve was completely preserved. On pathological examination the tumor was a follicular adenoma.
Laryn g oscopic examination after thyroidectomy showed both vocal cords to be mobile.

We tested the stability in solution of sodium ampicllin by nephelometry using Bacillus subtilis natto at various concentrations and storage temperatures (which was available in a ordinary clinic). The results showed that the antibiotic in solution was more stable when the solution was kept at lower temperature and lower concentration. More than 50% of the initial potency was lost within 48 hrs at a high concentration (200 mg/ml) even at a lower temperature (4°C). However, the solution kept in a refrigerator at lower concentration (20 mg/ml) retained more than 75% of the initial potency even after 3 weeks.

Although such complications as hypoparathyroidism and recurrent palsy occur frequently, surgery produces a rapid and permanent cure of hyperthyroidism in the great majority of patients.
The outcome of surgery for Graves' disease was studied in 22 patients undergoing subtotal thyroidectomy in the 5-year period 1984-1988. There were 16 women and 6 men (ratio 2.6: 1). The median age was 31 years (range 16 to 59 years). Eighteen patients were followed with an average follow-up of 33 months (range 10 to 62 months). Fourteen patients (77.8%) were euthyroid,1 was euthyroid with elevated TSH and 3 had hypothyroidism.
