The department of NBDC Program, Japan Science and Technology Agency is promoting activities aimed at maximizing the value of data and contributing to data-driven science through the integration of data and databases. As part of these activities, we have established the NBDC Human Database as a framework for integrating and widely sharing data collected through research in the life science and medical fields and data from various analyses using specimens, in collaboration with the Bioinformation and DDBJ Center, the National Institute of Genetics (DDBJ Center). In addition, TogoVar is being constructed as a database to integrate the data registered and published in the NBDC Human Database and to publish them as frequencies.
