In order to develop a rapid deposition process for oxide ceramic film, ZnO film deposition by thermal plasma assisted MOCVD was carried out. Cnsequently, fully crystallized ZnO could be created without introducing oxygen source in the air.

In order to enhance the photocatalytic properties of plasma sprayed TiO2 coatings, hybrid coatings with Au nano particles were fabricated by using the ink solvent with Au nano particles. The effect of voulme nano paricles on the photocatalytic properties was investigated.

We have investigated the direct bonding process low melting point Sn-In alloy. Because the Sn-In diffuses to Cu bulk completely, it is assumed that joint was strengthened highly. It is found that adding Sn content into the insert alloy, 70%-Sn was highest shear strength 100MPa.

Influence of oxygen concentration in helium base shielding gas on weld shape is investigated on SUS304 stainless plates. Results show that the small addition of oxygen to the helium base shielding gas can effectively adjust the weld metal oxygen content and the weld shapes.

In order to increase the penetration of TIG Arc Weld, laser activating process was devised. As the result of the welding with the devised process, deeper penetration weld, depth > 5 mm, aspect ratio > 0.7 under the condition of I=150A, v=2 mm/s for example, was obtained.
