Abstract In this paper, we discuss the management of school dormitory. Our main conclusion is that it is an effective way, for every person who is managing a school dormitory, to have the viewpoints of career education, and we give some proposals as experimental trials, for seeking the best or better way of managing a school dormitory.
This paper describes the control operation verification and improvements of two-wheeled inverted pendulum uniaxial. The purpose of this experimental study is to show a significant content of control with an inverted moving from the point of software. Motion control model of the inverted pendulum which is used in this research is created in terms of the state equations, the operation amount, the servo system and the state observer. In addition, the feedback gain is calculated by the pole placement method and the optimal regulator. The simulation is verified with the actual operation. As a result, inverted moving stable operation was shown to be achieved by not only reveal the elements of the operation and control the output voltage of the motor, weighting is performed on them．
LCD screens are used in TV viewing and VDT work. The study on the visibility of the display is often reported from the perspective of the ecological psychology. This paper describes the results of the research the relationship between the human sensibility and the physical indicators. Focusing on the display character, the engineering evaluation and the analysis of the visibility are conducted. The primary purpose of this study is to show the equations by a quantitative analysis of the relationship between the visibility and the display character. The second purpose, through the evaluation and analysis of LCD visibility, is to clarify the research methods of the engineering control technology for the information display in the electronic information equipment system, and to deepen the understanding of this field.
In this study, relationships between development of typhoon and rising of the sea surface temperature (SST) in the north west Pacific Ocean are investigated. Further the characteristics difference in typhoon associated with El Nino and La Nina phenomena is also investigated. The average of global SST has risen by 0.55 ℃ in past 100 years. In the northwest Pacific Ocean including Japan area, it was 1.8 ℃/100 years rise during resent 28 years (1986-2013). The total number of typhoons tends to be small and the strength of typhoons tends to become weak during this recent period. Average generation positions of typhoons during this period have been moving to the west and the north in the Pacific Ocean. It is found that events of equatorial SST, such as El Nino or La Niña phenomena, seriously affect characteristics of typhoon.
In this study, using AMeDAS and meteorological observatories data at 840 locations in total, the most recent tendency of the climate change in Japan area is analyzed. In order to estimate the tendency of climate about 30 -100 years, we consider the quality of AMeDAS data of the recent 36 years (1978-2013) and analyze the amount of precipitations, the temperatures, and the annual daylight hours. As a result, global warming is detected over the area, the rising rate of the annual average temperature in Japan is about 3.13 ℃ per 100 years. It should be consider that the high temperature rising rate in urban areas affects the rising rate of the temperatures in Japan area. The changes in detect intervals, observational sites and meteorological devises should be taken into consideration for estimating the long-term climatic change.
Global environmental problems are big threats for our future. In this study, we have carried out the questionnaire in order to grasp the actual condition of Yatsushiro resident's environmental awareness, and compare with environmental awareness before the great east Japan earthquake. Although the tendency changes with generations, many of Yatsushiro residents have big concern in environmental problems. People's insecurity to atomic power and concern about alternative energy is increasing after the earthquake disaster.
A purpose of this paper is to clarify the architectural characteristics of Syogon-ji temple in Yatsushiro-shi. It is a Jyodo sect temple of the Edo era. There are many traces of repair in the current main hall. As a result of having compared the current main hall with the old drawing of 1795 while considering them, it was revealed that the current main hall and the drawing were the same buildings. Then the roof is shikoro form and these depth is 6ken. From this, it was built according to a law established in 1668 (kanbun8). The plan is a prototype of the main hall of the Jyodo sect, but there are the inherent characteristics. They are asymmetry, the vague border of the inner sanctum (Naijin) and the unity of the inner sanctum (Naijin) and the outer chamber (Gejin) . We considered that the reason of the latter was influence of the Jishu sect.
The development of concrete using industrial waste and industrial byproducts has been studied in various areas, in consideration of several factors such as protection of environmental resources or CO2 reduction. In particular, fly ash and blast furnace slag fine powder have been used as admixtures for the purpose of improving the quality of concrete. The standard curing is used in most cases in existing research, but less researches have been conducted under conditions similar to those of actual structure. In this study, concrete specimens made with fly ash or blast furnace slag fine powder are used. Their mechanical properties and durability were evaluated by using the standard curing and steam curing as experimental factors. As a result, higher value was shown in strength development of concrete than the concrete of normal cement alone. In addition, drying shrinkage strain and inhibitory effect on salt penetration was observed. As the result of this experiment, it was confirmed that the use of fly ash and blast furnace slag fine powder as PC member concrete is useful.
This paper discusses the renovation plan of enlargement of our women’s dormitory with reference to Ochadai SCC and Kurume Kosen’s women’s dormitory. And also it discusses the improvement of our dormitory’s student cafeteria and courtyard. Recently female students are increasing and our women’s dormitory become short. On the other hand, our men’s dormitory is increasing vacancies. So, we have proposed the renovation of men’s dormitory to the women’s dormitory. The dormitory is the most important educational place much the same as classrooms. Especially, common spaces are important for students’ communication. It is necessary that it is comfortable space.

In this paper we study these properties with purely combinatorial points of view.

We introduce the property of modules called “weak” m-fullness and “weak” fullness. We show that the Rees property and the m-fullness are equivalent in the class of modules with weak m-fullness, and also that the second Rees property and the fullness are equivalent in the class of modules with weak fullness.
This paper reports approaches of electronic works for beginners. Electronic kit designed on the theme of sound can be made at a low cost. Furthermore, the kit can be used with many subjects such as logical circuits, computer engineering, electrical circuits and electronic circuits. It is found that the educational kit of electronics using breadboard and electronic parts is effective for learning electronic circuit.
The autonomous robot using mbed conforming to the rules of the robotracer and micromouse contest are developed. The mbed is fast prototyping tool that has developed in recent years, and using mbed is easy to develop for the hardware and software of robots. The robotracer is a kind of line follower robot, which runs along the white line on the black surface with recognizing start/goal and corner marker. The micromouse is a maze solving robot. From the difficulty of both hardware and software, the micromouse using as a teaching material is very few case. The micromouse is used as a teaching tool from the difficulty of both hardware and software is very few case, but the micromouse developed in this study is available as a teaching material.
This paper reports on public lectures “Useful Electronic Kits at the Time of a Disaster”. The textbook in this lectures was devised to learn how to use electronic devices. In addition, wiring of electronic devices was also devised. A security alarm, SOS transmitter, a white LED light and so on were made by students.
A voice communication device including a speech recognition, a noise reduction and a speech synthesis has been developed in our laboratory. The device can make some support apparatus and can use educational materials for welfare information education. In this paper, an overview of voice communication device is reported.
