In the previous study, categories were defined from information provided by young Japanese men concerning their views on marriage and vocation. In the current study, the consistency of the subjects' views for each category was verified. The consistency of the subjects was examined by means of wavelet multi-resolution analysis. As a result regardless of difference between traditional and non-traditional ways of thinking, it is clear that the subjects' views are inconsistent in both conservatism and progressivism. Furthermore, it is evident that young Japanese men who have both of traditional and non-traditional views are similar in thinking to those with traditional views in regard to vocation.
