As an experiment of investigation in effect of feeding and carcass quality on growing fattening swine by using legume, we studied the feeding by green ladino clover.
The swine in this experiment are six Middle White at the age of 70 days, they were divided in two groups of treatment and control.
In 17 weeks raising term, the swine of treatment was fed with green ladino clover and some concentrates, and the control was fed with potato and some concentrates, and each group was given same nutrient.
7 weeks of fattening term, both group were fed with same feed of potato and concentrates.
The results are summarized as follows;
1. They fond of green ladino clover very well, and the growth of them were as well as the control.
2. Herbage intake of green ladino clover on growing fattening term was shown by next equation.
Y=0.114X-1.054
Y=Kg of herbage intake.
X=Kg of body weight.
3. In nutrient requirement during the raising term, the rate of supply by green ladino clover was 30.9% at DCP, and 18.6% at TDN.
