Background: School health room plays the central role of health activities in schools, and health counseling by Yogo teacher.
In the attachment theory advocated by J Bowlby, the behavior of seeking assistance from others when the individual falls into a dangerous state such as injured or diseased is affected by the experience of the interaction with the caregiver from infancy, and it is done by recognizing that people are the existence that will help themselves.
Objectives: In this research the objective was to attempt the modeling of the student's behavior on visiting school health room, and examine the attachment function of school health room and Yogo teacher by the interview with students and Yogo teachers.
Methods & Results: We interviewed 4 students (3rd grade/high school), 3 students (freshman/university) and 3 Yogo teachers. Using the KJ method for a serial language analysis, each participant generated 8 categories. Using the extracted categories, we created a model diagram of “The process of student's visit to the school health room, students representation of school health room and Yogo teacher, and the correspondence of Yogo teachers", and acquired that the process consists of 4 concepts as follows. “intention of the student visiting school health room”, “student's mood at the time of visiting school health room”, “correspondence by Yogo teacher”, “student's attitude after visiting school health room”.
Conclusion: As a result of this research, it became clear that a school health room is performing the function as a secure base with a yogo teacher from the angle of the attachment. This result is effective in development of the care process for understanding of students in a new way.
