A copepod, Pseudanthessius chuukensis Uyeno, n. sp. (Cyclopoida: Pseudanthessiidae), is described based on the type specimen obtained from the grouper Epinephelus sp. (Actinopterygii: Perciformes: Serranidae) caught in Chuuk Lagoon (North Pacific Ocean), Federated States of Micronesia, North Pacific Ocean. The copepod differs from its congeners in the following female characters: the urosome is 5-segmented; caudal rami are five to six times longer than wide; the distal endopodal segment of leg 1 carries three spines and three setae; leg 4 endopod has two setae, without proximal swellings, and as long as about two-third of that of the exopod. This finding of the copepod is the first record of the family Pseudanthessiidae from the actinopterygian fish.

歌を歌うという行為は人々にとって身近なものである。また歌う目的も、ストレスを発散するため、歌を上達させるため、単純に歌を歌うことを楽しむため、といったように人それぞれで様々な種類がある。そこで人が歌を歌う目的を明確にし、その目的にあったサービスを提供することによりユーザーにとってより満足できる歌唱体験を提供できるのではないかと考え対象ユーザーが歌を歌うことが楽しくなるデザインを提案することを目的とした。私はカラオケで使用する歌うことを楽しむためのデバイス「LIVE BAND」を制作した。歌を歌う際にユーザーが着用する。　歌に合わせてアクションをすることによってカラオケルームの壁面に投影されている映像にエフェクトがかかるようになっている。アクションをした際に発生するエフェクトはアクションの回数が増えると３段階に変化する。また壁面に投影される動画も歌詞の切れ目でアクションの回数が一定数を超えていると映像が変化していくため現在どれくらい盛り上がっているのかが視覚的に分かりやすくなっている。歌唱者は自分の歌に合わせて周りの人がアクションをしてくれていると感じることができる。

The present study examines Japanese EFL learners' use of 'let's-imperatives' in their English invitations. The focus of the research is placed on the following three areas: 1) the characteristics of the linguistic forms used in the head act of making invitations; 2) the multiple functions of 'let's-imperatives' used by Japanese EFL learners; and 3) the influence of L1 rhetorical patterns on L2 writing. Analysis found that 'let's-imperatives' used by Japanese students in English invitations indicate not only invitations, but also announcements of the events and suggestions for parties. They also express the host's expectations, hopes, and requests for the guests' participation in parties. The inappropriate use of 'let's-imperatives' is considered to be attributed to linguistic as well as pragmatic transfer of Japanese expressions and sociocultural concepts into English.

コーヒーは昔から薬として使用され，今日では飲料として多くの人に愛されている． コーヒーと聞くとカフェインが真っ先に浮かぶ物質である．カフェインには脳の活動の活性化，思考力や集中力の上昇，疲労感の軽減などの作用があることが知られている．その他にクロロゲン酸，フェルラ酸，トリゴネリン等の体に良い影響をもたらす物質も存在する．これらの物質には，発がんリスクの低下に係わっていると考えられている． 近年の研究では，コーヒーを飲む人の肝がんや子宮体がんの発生率がコーヒーを飲まない人と比べてかなり減少し，発がんリスクを下げることが報告されている． コーヒーは漢方と違い，発症してから飲むのでは薬理的な効果は発揮されない．しかし，がん予防だからといっても限度があり，適度に嗜好品として飲むことが重要である．

当病院は人口41300人中65％が65歳以上を占めている地域密着型中核病院である。急性期看護が必要とされる患者が当病棟に集中しており、医療の高度化に伴い、高い専門性を要求されている。しかし、日々、処置や治療の介助に追われ、スタッフからは「自分の看護に自信が持てない」、「看護ができていない」という意見が聞かれているのが現状であり、当院の看護部の理念である楽しんで看護をすることが出来ていないのではないかと感じる。そこで、今回、楽しく看護ができているか、楽しいと感じる因子について検討したので、報告する。 _I_　研究目的 　楽しく看護ができているか、できる要因は何かを明らかにする。 用語の定義 　楽しい看護とは心が満ちて、気分がいい看護 _II_　研究方法 　当科看護師26名に研究者が作成したアンケートにて調査を行った。アンケート内容は性別、年齢、経験年数、楽しい看護体験の有無、どのような看護体験か、現在、楽しい看護をしていると感じることがあるか、どのような時に楽しい看護をしていると感じるか、思う・あまり思わない・思う・非常に思うに４から1の点数をつけ、平均点を出した。項目については_丸1_上司にほめられた_丸2_チームメンバーとの連携を取り、看護をした_丸3_チームカンファレンスでの話し合いがうまくいった_丸4_医師との良い連携で治療の介助ができた_丸5_医師とのカンファレンスが持てた_丸6_パラメディカルとの連携で看護ができた_丸7_自分の能力向上のための研修_丸8_患者さんとコミュニケーションがうまくとれた_丸9_看護師の人員が多く仕事が早く終わった_丸10_希望する病棟への異動_丸11_患者さんから感謝の言葉をかけられた_丸12_その他12項目とした。SPSS11.５for windowsを使用し、集計、経験年数1～3年の人、5年以上の人と楽しい看護体験がある人の関係について、Ｘ２検定を行った。労働者の満足感を増大させる動機付け要因であるハーツバーグの2要因に基づいて分析した。 _III_　結果・考察 過去には楽しい看護を経験しているが、現在看護を楽しいと感じていない。楽しい看護を感じる要因には、患者さんとのコミュニケーションが上手くできること、患者さんから感謝の言葉をかけられることと感じている人が多い。項目別には患者さんとコニュニケーションがうまくとれた、患者さんから感謝の言葉をかけられた時に平均点が高く自分の能力向上のための研修や希望する病棟への異動が低かった。その他に記述回答で自分の知識が生かせた時、自分の思いが通じた時、嚥下不全の患者さんに関わり、食べることができた時と答えた人がいた。　　 ハーツバーグの2要因理論にて分析したところ、衛生要因が高いことについてはスタッフの意識に達成や成長につながる動機付けの要因につながっていないことが言えるのではないか。今回、楽しい看護ができる要因について、研究者側から提示したことであり、スタッフからの多くの意見を聞くに至らず、具体的な言葉や要因を引き出す事ができなかったが今後は楽しい看護ができる環境や具体的な因子を探っていき、具体的な目標としてあげていくことが必要と考える。

本研究は，ピアノ初心者でも手軽に演奏を楽しめるピアノ演奏システムの提案をする．ユーザができるだけ上手に演奏できることと，ユーザのパフォーマンス性の向上を目指した設計となっている．提案するシステムはユーザの打鍵によるベロシティ，音長を残し，打鍵された音高を正しい音高に差し替え出力するシステムである．これにより熟達者でなくても正しいリズムで打鍵が可能なユーザであれば，楽譜通りの演奏を楽しむことができる．

In recent times, the use of subtitles and audio descriptions in movies for individuals with either hearing or visual impairment and the need to develop systems to provide these have been realized. However, even the need and possibility for deaf-blind individuals to

movies have not been discussed yet. This study created an environment for deaf-blind individuals to “watch” a film, and conducted a screening of feature-length films with subtitles and audio descriptions. Interviews of 26 deaf-blind individuals indicated that 56% had watched films in a theater after becoming deaf-blind and before the screening session. When watching the films, 26.9% of participants used individual monitoring devices, headphones, or other conventional video or audio equipment. Furthermore, 50% were able to use either subtitles or audio descriptions. Regardless of their impairment conditions, participants responded positively towards watching the film in the screening session. Among the deaf-blind, 42.1% of the partially sighted and deaf, blind and hard of hearing, and partially sighted and hard of hearing individuals appreciated a special aspect of the theater, i.e., “sharing an opportunity and communication with others.”

We have developed a novel electronic musical instrument with a pre-programmed score, called “Cymis,” to help the disabled

playing musical pieces. In 2008, field experiments commenced at a nursing home (capacity 52 clients; average age 58.6; cerebral palsy 32 clients). The purpose of the present study was to demonstrate that Cymis is useful and effective for helping the severely disabled maintain or improve their quality of life. First, the accessibility of Cymis was revealed by the fact that 34 clients (63%) played Cymis for an average of 5.6 years. Second, each client’s progress in performance, which possibly reflects improvements of upper-limb motor control function, was examined for the longest duration of over 7 years. Among 31 clients, 13 (42%) showed progress, 17 (55%) showed no change (5 of whom showed progress initially but then regressed to their original status), and 1 (3%) revealed deterioration in condition. Third, psychological effects were measured using an original Face Scale before and after playing Cymis, for a total of 395 performances by 38 clients. Clients became happier in 208 performances (53%), showed no changes in 139 (35%), and became sadder in 48 (12%). Finally, with respect to their care plans, 19 of 52 clients (37%) selected Cymis in 2015, and this number itself implies the importance of Cymis. Basic reasons for selection were investigated by care workers’ assessments from mental and psychological perspectives. In conclusion, Cymis was useful, effective, and attractive to the disabled; it permitted them to playing music that might not otherwise be possible, and some evidence of therapeutic effect was found.

An example of one-semester course for the introduction to information chemistry is presented for the junior students in a bioscience- or biotechnology-related department, together with their curricular background. The course consists of information search for scientific documents and molecular computation. The former includes introduction of the structure and function of abstract databases for scientific documents. An exercise on subject search is afforded with Chemical Abstracts and an instruction on an electronic search is made with JOIS. The latter is focused on determination of molecular structures with molecular mechanics and molecular orbital calculation, with Hueckel MO method as an example. Theoretical background of each calculation method is briefly introduced and practical study is also afforded. Planned expansion of the covering area of the course in the future is shown and problems underlying is discussed in relation to the intellectual background of students in bioscience/biotechnology departments.

児童・生徒の科学的思考力や問題解決能力の育成および科学的リテラシーの向上を図るために学習用ロボットを教材とする教育プログラムを開発し、小学校6年の総合学習の時間として授業を実施した。普段の理科の授業に消極的な傾向を示していた児童も、能動的かつ積極的に取り込んでおり、それぞれの課題をこなすために創意工夫を加えていた。

2014年12月に打ち上げられ，2020年12月にカプセル地球帰還を果たした小惑星探査機はやぶさ2のシステム設計と開発経緯について述べる．外部搭載機器の搭載位置や指向方向は，運用全体を見通した上で，はやぶさ2が予定する軌道と，太陽，地球，小惑星の位置関係から決めた．電源系は，太陽距離が大きく変化することを考慮した設計としている．通信系は，運用に合わせたアンテナ配置としている．姿勢軌道制御系は，小惑星近傍運用向けの機器や自動化自律化機能を持つ．データ処理系は柔軟な自動化自律化機能や，低ビットレートにも適合したテレメトリシステムを持つ．熱制御系は，ピーク電力を抑え，イオンエンジンに最大電力を供給できるピークパワー制御機能を持つヒータ制御装置を採用している，など．開発経緯については，主要スケジュールと，はやぶさ初号機からの変更点について述べた．
