1.The mutual relation between two ways of definition for surface tension is investigated.
It is shown that two ways of definition can be closely connected with each other when one choose suitable ones. This connection have been carried in the form of “pressure expression” by determining the surface of tension.
2.One calculates the deviations of the surface tension of curved interface from that of plane interface with the use of the “discontinuity appracimation” about the distribution function. An interesting result is obtained, that the deviation is minus for the spherical interface but plus for the cylindrical one.
It may be understood the surface tension of spherical interface decreases with increasing curvature so long as very small but macroscopic droplets are concerned.
