The authors have examined the adhesion mechanism, the adhesion property to topcoats, and the corrosion resistance of an epoxy primer which can tolerate longer coating interval resulted from larger size of steel structures and prolonged construction schedule. The comparative verification was conducted between a conventional product and a newly-developed product in terms of the adhesion property (through pull-off test and cross-cut tape test), the adhesion mechanism (through IR analysis and the change of pencil hardness after being soaked in thinner), and the corrosion resistance (through cyclic corrosion test, or CCT).

There is a result of the previous research for about 20 years for presumption of the service life of the exterior paint finishing materials. However, because paints used had changed, the review of the result was needed. Then, the painting specification being used in general as an exterior now was first arranged. In this paper, RSLC from the viewpoint of the fine sight was temporarily set based on the questionnaire survey results to the paints factories (gross retention 30%), and the example of verifying the validity from the document in the past was described. In addition, it has been understood that a temporary housing fixed value (gloss retention 30%) roughly corresponds to level (CK3) of chalking as a result of analyzing the relation between the gloss retention and chalking.

Wet floor tiling is dangerous because the frictional drag decreases and it causes the skid. Generally, "Tape processing", "Medicine processing", and "Coating processing" are adopted a lot as a anti-skid method. However, problems such as "Design" and "Durability in the effect" remain in these methods , considering the demand performance of the market. The development goods examined this time correspond to the coating processing that uses a transparent resin film. Existing "Tape processing", "Medicine processing", and the comparison verification were done, and as a result domination to the market demand of the development goods was confirmed.

There are many application of Fluoropolymer coatings having long durability that were coated around 20 years ago. Those situation were checked and analyzed. A lot of constructions already have past more than 20 years. We confirmed those are very good situation even now and give benefit of life cycle cost. An further more, a good performance is mentioned developed powder coating resin of fluoro polymer.
