ABSTRACT : In late years an action to regain the turnout of people is pushed forward in the waterside by playing the waterside of a river and the canal in the city as hydrophilic space. And, in the waterside of the city, hydrophilic consideration is developed in building a breakwater maintenance. However, the surface of the water use of the river has few examples of the surface of the water use that a lot of legal limitation is constant, and is continuous. Therefore it has been examined based on the investigation into water restaurant to catch an effect of the deregulation of the waterside use. In such a movement, I arrested the effect of the oyster boat which there was as one policy of the surface of the water use in modern times in the early modern times again and arrested the spatial constitution of a thought, the historic process and background about the oyster boat and the oyster boat to get a premeditated suggestion for the use of future waterside and subsequently arrested the actual situation from the field work of the oyster boat which existed.
I show below the main point of the result.
・The success of the oyster culture in Hiroshima produced oyster boats as a policy for production shipment and gained success for sale in Osaka Hirakata after the sale in the neighborhood port. I enlarged the market at the ports of the whole country around the Seta Inland Sea and extended a sales network afterwards in North Korea and China.
・The oyster sale with the oyster boat as the cargo boat will bring about the oyster boat which is in a pleasure boat form in a thing for the value-added sale as the dish from the sale as the production article.
・The oyster boat which was in a pleasure boat form was only a room at first, but the addition of the function use including the kitchen was planned. And the scale expansion of the living room part was planned as a morphological change and invited the appearance of the oyster boat of a towing type and the floating box type based on the functional change of the building berth later.
・As for the existing oyster boat, five ships exist in the whole country
As for the oyster boat, the value recognition as tourist attractions has been accomplished as a one side plan of the surface of the water use of the river.
