A woman in her 80s underwent intramedullary surgery for a right proximal humerus fracture. She developed sudden severe pain and swelling of the right upper arm, 5 days postoperatively. The patient was transferred to our emergency critical care center for evaluation of severe bleeding from drainage of right arm hematoma. She was treated in the IVR-CT unit. We detected a right axillary artery pseudoaneurysm. We performed VIABAHN stent grafting, which afforded improvement in her condition. Endovascular stent grafting of the axillary artery may be a useful therapeutic option in elderly patients with the aforementioned clinical presentation.
