The Virtual Library is a newly designed, EndNote-based network system. It enables pharmaceutical researchers to share information between their essential references and patents that are obtained from various information resources such as e-journals and databases. As the system is also able to detect duplication of the same references and patent information that are surveyed from different resources, researchers can pool all the information into one knowledge platform. The system leads to knowledge sharing within the project team to accelerate their research effectiveness as well as information management.
