This paper is a research note that summarizes various studies for promoting DX. This research covers the scope of the ERP system introduction in DX. In addition, the scope is to support the person in charge of promoting DX. From the survey on the actual system introduction, the issues are “not documenting the requirements”, “insufficient organization of business / stakeholder requirements”, and “purpose / goal is not clear” at Requirement stage. In order to solve this, I have been worked on “reverse engineering using data”, “simulated experience by card game”, “system development process improvement”, “network diagram for selecting participants”, and “problem root cause analysis”. In the future, I plan to build a mechanism for “visualization of the agreement status of goals” and “semi-automation of requirement define”. I hope that this research will solve the problems of the person in charge of DX promotion in the company, promote the introduction of the ERP system, and contribute to the promotion of DX in Japan.

Bangladesh, unusually as an LDC, has strong pharmaceutical industry. By utilizing privilege given for LDCs under the TRIPS, Bangladesh companies can produce patent protected drugs and sell them as “generic drugs” in the country and other countries. Partly due to good business performance of the pharmaceutical industry, Bangladesh achieved rapid economic development over the past decades, and is scheduled to graduate from LDC in 2026 at the earliest. This study will examine the current status of Bangladesh pharmaceutical industry and then examine the impact of graduation from LDC on the industry.

This study explores how a service system can be expressed in the direction of service innovation by updating and empowering the components using AI and digitalization in the service value creation architecture proposed in the previous issue. Based on the AI R&D and innovation methods in industrial and regional activities that the authors have experienced, we have proposed a method to think about the empowerment of components of service systems and the possibility of solutions through AI and digitalization. The method is applied to DX (digital transformation) to map practices including AI for different service areas in our business administration classes. These case studies show not only how the service elements in the service system are updated, but also how the future innovative service is designed to solve business and social problems. In addition, the practice of AI prototyping using no-code tools demonstrates the possibility of tools for predicting the maturity of service systems from a technology management perspective.

Amid the declining population, the concentration in Tokyo area continues on one hand, and the decline in rural areas is accelerating on the other. We have to pursue regionally balanced development as a whole country, because overcrowding and depopulation deteriorate the comprehensive welfare standard of the nation.

As we have learned from the facts, region-revitalization measures in a fashion of mere problem-solving would not effectively work. The tasks for region-revitalization are not just activations of each area, but how to shape the nation.

There are two requisites to activate region-revitalization discussions, i.e. forming a philosophy and discussing long avoided perspectives.

In the era of depopulation of the matured society and at the end of global competition paradigm, a new “philosophy” not only for region-revitalization but also for nation’s reshaping have to be formed. It is also required to discuss several important perspectives that we have long avoided. These are (1) An excessive motorization destroys regions, (2) A bypass economy sucks up the cash flows of regions, (3) Attractiveness of the agriculture industry, (4) Transfer from national tax to local tax.

By incorporating the above two requisites, fundamental region- revitalization effectively begins to move.

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the learning at the NISHIKAWA MOT (Management of Technology) School by examining how the unlearning process is conducted in the development of management personnel. In this study, we examined unlearning by analyzing the cases of six graduates of the NISHIKAWA MOT School and confirming what they thought when they entered the school, what they learned, and what results they achieved. The majority of the model managers in this study inherited the business from their fathers without learning management. Based on this background, we found that the NISHIKAWA MOT School provides efficient learning opportunities for each owner's awareness of problems and promotes unlearning. As a result of the verification, it is considered that the six models are achieving results in unlearning. The results showed that the company has become a company that can generate profits and pay taxes, which are necessary conditions for corporate activities, as well as a company that cares for its employees and meets the needs of its customers.

Japanese-style global management regards people and employees as assets, and if they work with integrity, they will receive a steady salary. Job-based employees are incorporated into the lifetime employment system based on the premise of long-term employment. A system in which membership-type employees and job-type employees are treated in combination with job-based compensation.

Japanese companies should invest in R&D over the long term and build an environment that allows them to persistently pursue technological development. This will be the foundation for innovation and the key to maintaining competitiveness and sustainable growth.

Chapter 3 of “Digital Education for Executives in Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises” series is “fundamentals of creating internal database,” by explaining roles of data in business from a point of view of data as resources.

It is critical for business to transform raw data and utilize it as a valuable database in the enterprise systems. What can we understand from analyzing sales data? How does cost data analysis help us improve productivity? Data collection by itself does not enrich companies. This report will show classic cases of the systems that have successfully analyzed gathered data.

Although the content of this report is rathe basic, it lays out the points companies should work on. Networks become a weapon in this day and age, and peace is something you win over. The report discusses protection of data as corporate assets.
