Clock signal extrtaction from 40-Gbit/s signals based on injection loocking is demonstrated. The loop frequency is 20 GHz, which enables efficient frequency down conversion and system cost down. Basic characteristics of locking range, phase noise, and frequency response of the system are clarified. The system is applied to the 40-Gbit/s 400-km transmision experiment where error free operation is confirmed for 76 hours.
This paper describes an algorithm for estimation of internal area in the circular road signs from color scene image due to fuzzy reasoning. The algorithm works in three steps. First, regions of circular road sign in color scene image are detected. Secondly, color information is estimated due to fuzzy reasoning by using both color features and edge information. Thirdly, the resulting region is classified into three colors: red, blue and white. The experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm is able to accurately estimate information of internal area in the circular road signs.
In this paper, we present the results of designing the feedforward element of discrete-time 2DOF controller based on output response sequence by regularized least square solution. The results of the numerical simulation show the effectiveness of the method.
Excited modes in cleaning tub are mainly composed of vibration mode and sound mode. The sound mode (named E mode) contributes to cleaning. It is found that E modes are influenced by material constants and thickness of tub wall. In this paper, we have investigated the influence on the sound mode when the stainless block is put to the bottom of the cleaning tub. It has been found as to E112 mode that the sound mode nearby the bottom approaches to the sound mode when the bottom is rigid body.
