A 6-year-old rabbit presented with severe haemorrhagic discharge from the vulva. An ovariohysterectomy was performed, and then three large nodules were detected in the uterus, and a large number of small nodules were observed on the serous membrane of the left uterine horn. Histopathologically, two nodules in the right uterine horn were classified as papillary adenocarcinomas. The nodule in the left uterine horn evinced an admixture of both tubular/solid and papillary adenocarcinomas. The small nodules on the serous membrane of the left uterine horn were composed of tubular/solid adenocarcinomas that had invaded into the thickened uterine myometrium. The rabbit suddenly died 50 days after surgery. Necropsy revealed multiple nodules in the greater omentum, in the intestinal mesentery and on the visceral surface of the liver, indicating disseminated metastasis. Moreover, numerous nodules were observed in the lungs, suggesting hematogenous metastasis.
