ジャーナル フリーIn the previous paper, entitled “A New Ion Optical Investigation of Electric and Magnetic Crossed Fields I”, the 1st order ion optical properties of the new crossed field were examined, assumming a new type of an electric field in which the converging field component and the dipole field component can vary independently. ジャーナル フリーThe EI mass spectral fragmentation of a series of perfluoro-oxa-alkylated aromatic compounds, [ArCFCF3{OCF2CF(CF3)}nOC3F7, n=0, 1, 2, Ar=phenyl, 2-furyl, 2-thienyl, 2-pyrrolyl] was investigated in comparison with those of the corresponding non-fluorinated one (PhCHCH3OC3H7) and fluoroalkylated benzenes [Ph(CF2)nCF3, n=2, 6]. These fragmentation processes were discussed on the basis of accurate mass measurements and B/E constant linked scannings. In perfluoro-oxa-alkylated aromatic compounds, it was clarified that these compounds show the characteristic fragmentation path ways which result from the α-fission of parent ion and the dissociation of oxygen-carbon bond in perfluoro-oxa-alkyl groups. In fluoroalkylated benzenes, it was indicated that these benzene derivatives show the main fragmentation path ways by the loss of fluoroalkyl groups to afford difluorobenzyl ion.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (319K) -

ジャーナル フリーStereoisomeric cis-, trans-cyclopentene-3,4-diols (1 and 2), and cis-, trans-cyclopentene-3,5-diols (3 and 4) are differentiated by comparing the mass spectra of their trimethylsilyl derivatives. The relative ion abundances at m/z 147 [(CH3)3SiOSi(CH3)2]+ of cis-isomers (1 and 3) are larger than those of the corresponding trans-isomers (2 and 4), respectively.
Most of the metastable molecular ions of 1 and 2 fragment to the ions at m/z 82 and m/z 72 by losing H2O and CO, respectively. Accompanying with the above two reactions, however, the molecular ions of 3 and 4 fragment to the ions at m/z 81 and m/z 71 by losing H3O and CHO. The B/E linked scan spectra of the m/z 72 ions from 1 (and 2), and 3 (and 4) were in agreement with those of the molecular ions of butanal and 2-butanone, respectively.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (407K) -

ジャーナル フリーThe mass calibration standard materials in the low mass region for negative ion chemical ionization (NCI) mode in a magnetic sector mass spectrometer were sought, because perfluorokerosine (PFK) and perfluorotributylamine (PFTBA) used in EI mode scarcely produce negative ions below m/z 200. The 45 fluorine-containing compounds (5 alkanes, 6 ketones, 5 esters, 5 ethers, and 3 acid anhydrides, etc.) were tested, and the 10 : 1 : 1 mixture of 3 esters [CF3COOCH3, C2F5COOC2H5, C3F7COOC2H5] and the 1 : 1 : 1 mixture of 3 acid anhydrides [(CF3CO)2O, (C2F5CO)2O, (C3F7CO)2O] were found to be advantageous. In their NCI mass spectra, ions were observed at m/z 69, 85, 113, 128, 144, 178, 194, and m/z 113, 128, 144, 163, 178, and 194, respectively, with the relative ion intensities of several to 100%. The standard materials for mass calibration and for selected ion monitoring were also purposed.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (622K)

ジャーナル フリーIn order to examine the sputtering process of indium tin oxide (ITO) films, secondary neutral mass spectrometry (SNMS) was applied to analyze fragmentation of the sputtered neutral particles from the ITO target. It was found that both atomic and molecular fragments such as InOSn were included in the sputtered neutrals. The relative amount of InOSn cluster fragment depends on the structural state of Sn atoms in the ITO target. That is, there are two structural state of Sn atoms so for as known; one is SnO2 grain segregated in In2O3, and the other is the solid solution state of Sn in In2O3 structure. The latter is related to the formation of InOSn cluster. On the basis of the analyses, mechanisms are discussed as to how the electrical resistivity of the sputtered ITO films is influenced by the structural state of Sn in the ITO target.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (257K)
