The importance of utilizing IT (Internet of Things) and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) is increasing. Importance of information system planning is also increasing because there is a lot of demand for new business by using big data, and/or productivity significant improvements of products. However, a report says about 50% of the introduction of information systems resulted in failure. The authors consider that there are many cases where smooth introduction does not proceed. One of the causes of the problem we regard is “the necessary human resources and man-hours are not secured”. Fukuzawa defined “human resource type, human resource skill set image, skill standards”, and verified its effectiveness, however, did not mention about man-hours for each process. In this study, we newly proposed “guideline about necessary resource of man-hour for super upstream process” which is able to estimate man-hour for important process easily. Usage of this guideline will help to necessary human resource of man-hours be secured for important process.

The importance of information system planning is important as well as the importance of utilizing IT (Internet of Things) and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) . However, a report says about 50% of the introduction of information systems resulted in failure. The authors consider that there are many cases where smooth introduction does not proceed, and it is considered to be a social issue. One of the causes of the problem we regard is “the necessary human resources and man-hours are not secured”. To solve this problem, it is necessary to develop human resources who understand the chain of value creation from the management strategy stage to the work level. As a human resources development program focusing on the chain of value creation, the use of the “IoT Value Creation Sheet” for education has been proposed, but there are no case reports of this approach. In addition to the above, since I found out that there is no clear identification of “Collection”, “Analysis”, and “Control” in the “IoT Value Creation Sheet” as a challenge, I proposed own improvement into the sheet. In this study, we verified by trial about the effectivity of education for human resource development by using “IoT Value Creation Sheet”. And also we verified my own improvement idea into the sheet, effectivity of the sheet, and its ripple effects.

Retail chain stores, such as supermarkets and convenience stores, typically select similar national brand product lineups, even though the product assortment on shop shelves is considered to be a significant factor in customers’ choices. To understand why real-world retailers often choose almost the same product assortment as their competitors choose, this study examines product assortment in retail stores using an analytical approach. We develop a mathematical model based on the application of the long tail sales model and power law; then, we determine the Nash and Stackelberg equilibria of the product assortment competition between two retailers. The analysis finds that the limited shop floor area and marginal profit of adding a product to the lineup are the main factors that result in the similar product assortment in retail stores. We then propose managerial implications derived from the analytical results.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the factors that influence the development of agricultural production areas from the viewpoint of business system. The research method incorporates two perspectives that reside in organizational relationships rather than the concept of business systems. The first is the mechanism for training managers, and the second is the function of long-term continuous outsourcing. In addition, the time points when the relationships between organizations within the industrial agglomeration change are divided into phases. The case study of these analyzes is the olive industry on Shodoshima. As a result of the analysis, the following two points were clarified. First, the objects in a face-to-face relationship change from phase to phase, and by accumulating them, they function as a mechanism to foster diverse consciousness as a manager. Secondly, long-term continuous outsourcing functions as a mechanism to supplement the limited resources in the production area continuously for a certain period of time. The target of outsourcing changes from within the production area to an open relationship that transcends the boundaries of the production area. It was suggested that these two factors influence the long-term evolution of the production area.

In this research, we focus on business and human resources related to robot system integrator (hereinafter referred to as “robot SIer”) and investigate the characteristics of knowledge and technology required for robot SIer. Then, the way to develop human resources is discussed for continuous management of robot SIer companies. We interview several companies in order to solve the problem, and analyze the following issues: the characteristics of the companies, the problems occurred with introducing robots, and the education method of SIer. From the result of the interview, we show the knowledge and techniques required for robot SIer. And we propose efficient education method of human resource based on the combination of knowledge base and practice based. At the same time, we show that the proposed educational method is necessary for the education of robot SIer by comparing it with the methods in the current universities and technical high schools.

The introduction of robots in the manufacturing industry is being advanced with high technology, however the introduction is not progressing in different industries such as Sanpin industry and nursing welfare. Here, Sanpin industry denotes food, medical and cosmetic industries. On the background that the care problem is an urgent issue in the super-aging society in Japan, this research focuses on the care and welfare field, clarifies the problems in the introduction of robots, and discusses required knowledge and technologies for a robot system integrator (robot SIer) and the way to derive the requirements for robot introduction. We propose a method to develop human resources as SIer by examining various knowledge and technology. As for the educational method, we propose a method for developing upstream design ability of the system including the definition of requirements for long-term care and RTC / RTM based on the knowledge/ practice in the SIer training curriculum for manufacturing sites.

Through the government's efforts to realize society5.0, we are developing measures from the viewpoint of AI to contribute not only to contribute to the world but also to solve the unique issues that Japan has. The expansion of the AI field is a tremendous growth field, and expectations are growing as the next move following the manufacturing industry in Japan, which has no resources. What is absolutely necessary to promote AI is AI education. The purpose of this research is to refer to the specific contents of AI education.

In recent years, the number of companies and local governments that have introduced RPA has been rapidly increasing. However, there are many opinions that the random introduction of RPA has led to higher costs, increase of overtime despite its introduction of work style reform as a trump card. Because of this, the same mistake would be repeated made when introducing an information system in the past. The changes in RPA technology are remarkable. I order to accurately grasp the technical aspects and implementation methodologies and to definitely share the benefits of RPA introduction, the purpose of this study is to focus on RPA and to organize the knowledge as a pre-stage before formulating RPA application procedures.

It has been several years since RPA was first introduced to companies. A few years ago, the adoption process in RPA was not yet established, but is it likely that it has gradually been shaped with accumulation of information for a few years. Already, it has cost a lot of money, but there are many companies that have failed to introduce it and are looking for the future. However, under the circumstances where RPA cannot be avoided, it is considered that how to introduce RPA without problems is very important regardless of meter they are companies or local governments. Although the change is very drastic and the RPA introduction process may change, the purpose of this study is to pick up only the core part at the moment and formulate the RPA introduction process.

Production management in the industrial field has a lot of research and practice, and is also the source of Japan's competitiveness. However, production management in the agricultural field in Japan is still developing. In our previous research, we have sorted out the problems in smart agriculture in agricultural production management. In this study, we systematically organized the application of industrial production management methods, and then examined whether each industrial production management method could be applied to agricultural production management. We conclude that the application of industrial production management methods to agricultural production management is generally effective. However, it was not the result that it was effective in all cases, but it became clear from the consideration that there are large and small contribution rates such as "large, medium and small" in the applicability. Further targeted research is needed in our future work.

Digital transformation has recently become a new paradigm of business strategy. However, it is still unclear that what factors affect effective implementation of digital transformation. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and identify the factors that influence the implementation of digital transformation. We especially address the role of information systems management and knowledge management as promoting factors of digital transformation. This paper proposes and empirically tests a causal model by using a sample of 114 firms in Japan based on our original questionnaire survey. The results of structural equation modeling suggest that the degree of knowledge management has a positive influence on implementing digital transformation, and the effect of information systems management is mediated by knowledge management. In addition, these relationships is not statistically affected by firm size. And finally implications of this study are discussed. This paper therefore provides an empirical perspective on the implementation of digital transformation of firms in Japan.

Unless it is based on the old way of thinking, it is impossible to explain the current environmental problems and sustainability measures. Mainly, I followed the process of arriving at the resource measures of the circular economy package in the EU. The CE Package was announced in 2015, and the SDGs were adopted by the United Nations in the same year. About the relationship between these two cases, it seems that no one has explained. Also, I will describe wealth that bring. And the future of the circular economy that can be seen from there will be described in another article..

Time has passed since the self-cleaning ability of one planet has been exceeded. From the aspect of biodiversity, such as the report of Rockström et al. in 2009 and the report of Duskupta et al.in 2021, it is getting worse and worse. In the research by Rockström et al., it was a remarkable achievement that the quantification and the setting of the limit value (threshold value) were performed in the environmental field. Judging from the tragedy that exceeded this limit, it is understandable that the EU called out "Closing the loop". Since the announcement of the EU Circular Economy Package in 2015, I will follow the Action Plane, especially focusing on resource issues. I will look at the transition and further discuss the future. Simply sharing of shapes only is not effective, and unless we start with ecodesign, it will not lead to a fundamental solution. I will announce the position of my own eco-design and think about the true significance of manufacturing. Ultimately, coexistence with nature is necessary.

"Wealth" is not being consisted by only materials. "Good life” or “Well-being” differs from person to person. Some areas and people still need a lot of support, but others are in advanced civilizations and cultures. It is also a characteristic of capitalism that it has a built-in disparity. The civilization has advanced beyond what Alvin Toffler predicted 40 years ago. When resource circulation and decoupling become reality, the actual product and the functions it provides will also be decoupled, and withdrawal from the material (thing) will begin. Dematerialization is necessary so that people in the world can enjoy well-being without leaving one, and it will become the reality of capitalism in the future.

This report incorporates the perspectives of factory management, that is, the perspectives of VRIO analysis, environmental management and business continuity. The "self-diagnosis checklist" checks items requiring improvement as "signs" for the differentiation of products and services regarding Rarity(R) and Imitability(I), Environmental management(E)and Business continuity management (B) as risk management.

The steps and direction of reform as a strategy of the manufacturing industry based on these studies are introduced as one of the measures to the solution.

From the perspective of employee health management in companies it is necessary to accurately ascertain the physical characteristics of hidden obesity and thinness of employees and take measures for it. However, since it is difficult to grasp hidden obesity and thinness in general health examinations, information that serves as a guide for each age and gender is required for their recognition. In this study, we investigated the distribution tendency of body proportion based on BMI classifications in young adults, focusing on hidden obesity and thinness as useful body proportion information for health management in corporate. Hidden obesity increased in both men and women from BMI of 22, reaching about 50% with BMI of 23 and about 70% with BMI of 24. High rates were thus demonstrated. Thinness had different trends in males and females. In males, the percentage with a standard body fat percentage was high while in females the percentage with low body fat percentage tended to be high.

System management in which the quality of talent identification and development programs in Japan is guaranteed has not been established. In this study, tall height is taken to be a necessary condition for success in sports and the management of this scouting system was explored based on the scientific evidence of tracking tall height and motor ability. The method used motor ability data on boys and girls from the second to the fifth grades of elementary school who participated in a talent discovery program in one prefecture, and an evaluation chart of motor ability due to changes with age was constructed using the wavelet interpolation model. Individuals with high motor ability were identified from this evaluation chart, and those among them who were tall were selected. As a result, it was possible to discover individuals who possessed tall height and high motor ability, which may bring us closer to the establishment of a talent scouting system management based on scientific evidence.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” Thus, it is a state in which physical, mental, and social aspects of well-being are all satisfied. For young children, health is important for sound growth, but in Japan physical, mental, and social aspects of well-being have all been satisfied perhaps only since the period of high economic growth. Studies have been conducted on the relationship between the economy and health, and between economic growth and physical growth, but few have focused on young children. In this study we built an evaluation chart based on the changes over time in the average height of 5-year-old children from 1950 to 2015 in 47 prefectures. The mean height growth data were then applied for each prefecture and we assessed how the tracking changed over time to investigate the relationship between physical growth and economic growth in young children. The possibility of applying Bergmann’s rule was also explored.

As for the physique of the Japanese, the phenomenon of accelerated development of height and weight was observed during the high-growth period. Along with this, a numerical increase in basal metabolic rate was also observed, but with the advent of obese children from early childhood, the risk of lifestyle-related diseases has also increased, and countermeasures have been taken. In this study, BMI, body surface area, and basal metabolic rate are calculated based on the height and weight measurement data of infants in Aichi Prefecture, and the current physique status of infants is grasped by radar charts and estimated from them. We discussed the efficiency of health education. This is an attempt to intervene from the numerical aspect in the health education of infants and to find out what kind of health education can demand efficient productivity for the present infants.

With the evolution of AI and information technology in the future, the production cost of the primary industry will decrease and competition will intensify. We analyzed and considered sustainability for each of the family-owned, corporate, and high-share businesses at each growth stage. As a result of the consideration, it is considered that the family-owned body is sustainable because it exerts its national land conservation function while being used in combination with side jobs and basic income. For corporate management bodies, sustainability is considered due to the removal from family business management bodies. For high-share management body, sustainability can be considered due to “concentration of production in large-scale companies”. The future task is to clarify the relationship between the perspectives of the founder's entrepreneurship, family business, business succession, M & A, and analysis of immigrant companies and sustainability.

The health management of company employees is identified mainly from regular health checkups, but it is difficult to directly understand the level of health with these tests. Moreover, identifying health level assessed from multiple test items is complex, and this method cannot be called easy. That is, assessment takes time and at the same time delays health care responses. This is conjectured to cause absenteeism and presenteeism, which are risks for decreased labor productivity. We therefore propose physical vitality level as a new human resource with which level of health can be easily assessed, which may be able to promote health management in companies. In this study, health level was defined as the level of physical vitality (vital energy), and physical activity level was estimated with the use of a health indicator called phase angle that is easily measured with BIA. Next, we selected high school students with strong physical ability who belonged to a powerful sports club, and compared phase angle with general high school students as a target group to examine physical activity level with phase angle. By performing these verifications, the significance of physical activity level may be proposed as a human resource.

In this paper, we emphasize that for hair, beauty and barbering business, keeping staff and clients safe and complying with health & safety law must be top priorities in their salon or barbershop. Therefore, a national license is required for both hairdressers and stylists to practice. Many of us take the existence of the hair salon for granted. However, this is relatively recent development and transformed the workplace for Japanese women. Chiyoko Yamano was a prominent early example of the entrepreneurial female beautician. who attended a famous beauty school in New York. World War II saw more Japanese women enter the workforce than ever before. In addition, hairstyles were changing and requiring more and more upkeep. The 1970s saw a rise in male salon clientele, as longer hair became more in style. Today, hair salons are ubiquitous, and many of us rely on them as a crucial part of our beauty and healthy routines.

In order to clarify the relationship between service satisfaction and web service needs among both parents of children who use day-care support services for children with disabilities and service workers who work at the facilities, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 154 parents and 57 workers at child development support offices (2 locations) and after-school day-care service offices (10 locations) in Nagoya City and Toyota City. As a result of multiple regression analysis of the relationship between service satisfaction and Web services, it was found that both parents and workers were less satisfied with "child-rearing advice and consultation. It is important to create more time for parents and children to interact with each other, and for parents and staff to interact with each other, and it is essential to develop new applications for this purpose.
