This paper records experiments undertaken to extend the accuracy and promptitudeof quantitative analysis attained by X-ray spectrography of iron alloys.
For this purpose, the author utilized the logarithmic sector as the same with that in the ordinary spectrographic method.
Then the relation between the difference of the length of two spectral lines on the photographic plate and the logarithmic value corresponding to ratio of the weights of two elements was graphically expressed.
By the graph of this sort, the X-ray spectral method can be easily practised and the computation for the result rapidly can be done.
