In this paper, we investigated on Internet usage in Chinese rural areas and the relation with government trust. It was confirmed that whether people use internet or not caused a difference among people's trust in government and recognition of policy. The results revealed that internet user's haves higher mean value than the non-users in score of “understood politics”. Also, internet users showed lower mean value than non-users for another three items. Though there were some differences between internet users and non-users concerning trust in government and recognition of policy, both of them showed trust in the government. However, further examinations were necessary to clarify the reason behind this phenomenon.
