計算量が多く時間がかかる問題を短時間で計算できる分散並列処理を実現する技術としてオブジェクト共有空間がよく用いられている．しかし，そのモデルはサーバ・クライアントモデルであるため，オブジェクト共有空間を提供するサーバにアクセスが集中する構造である．従って，クライアントが多くなるほど，ネットワーク通信のボトルネックが生じて，分散並列処理の性能向上を阻害してしまう．このため，分散並列処理において性能指標である台数効果は，クライアントが多くなるほど減少するという問題がある．

本研究では，クライアント間で通信を行うことができるP2Pを用いて，分散並列処理を実現するシステムを構築した．ブロードキャストを使用した参加依頼と参加要求およびユニキャストを使用したクライアント間通信によって，P2Pを用いた分散並列処理を実現した．さらに，P2Pによる通信などシステムの主要な処理は，具体的な計算処理とは独立するソフトウェア構造とした．

評価の結果，オブジェクト共有空間を用いた既存法と比較して，分散並列処理の計算性能の向上を確認した．さらに，クライアントが多くなっても台数効果が減少しないことを確認した．また，従来よりも少ないファイル数とライン数で，分散並列処理を実装することが可能となった．

To design robots worked in a high radiation dose environment, we investigated numerically radiation species and fluence distribution generated by irradiation of electrons with kinetic energy of 0.9 MeV into an aluminum plate. Numerical simulation results showed that photon was generated by irradiating the electron beam into the target plate, and no neutrons and protons were generated by the interaction. The photons were reflected and absorbed in a water region. We obtained the numerical simulation result for the decrease of fluence in an air region and the result of the radiation fluence with the inverse-square law as a function of distance. Also the radiation reduction with the distance for an experimental result was reproduced by the numerical simulation.

送電線下に位置する人体モデルに関し，足元から大地に流れる短絡電流（接地電流）を数値解析した．足が濡れた状態の人体モデルを大地に接して直立させ，金属板あるいは金属枠を両腕で頭上に保持させた．人体モデルには3 kV/m, 50 Hzの鉛直方向一様交流電界を印加した．金属物体の高さ（≤9.34 m），横幅（≤9.34 m），厚み（≤5.4 cm），保持点高（≤2.367 m）などをパラメータとして接地電流を解析した．接地電流が国際防護指針値である500 µAを超える際の，各パラメータの値を調査した．さらに，関連する全パラメータの完全2次多項式モデルで接地電流を表現し，フィッティング係数を非線形最小二乗法により算出した．得られた近似多項式は，金属板保持モデル解析において，接地電流の解析値を約−2.64%～3.90%以内の相違で表現できた．2次多項式モデルが適切であったのは，接地電流が表面電荷量と比例し，表面電荷量は解析対象の表面積に強く依存するためと考えられる．

インターネットショッピングのレビュー機能は，購入者が商品の感想や評価を記入できる機能である．購入希望者は商品レビューを読んで，事前に商品の情報を得ることができる．しかし，すべての購入者が注意深くレビューを書かないため，参考にならない商品レビューも存在する．本研究では機械学習を用いた自然言語処理にて商品レビューの解析，評価を行い，参考になる順番に並び替えを行うシステムを構築する．レビューの内容に登場する回数が多いものを学習素性とし，学習素性が商品レビューの内容に影響する重みを算出して，適切な重みを求めるように，ロジスティック回帰を用いて学習を行う．システムの評価には，クイックソートを利用した評価法であるQE法を提案する．QE法を使用することで，正しく並び替えができているかどうかの評価を行うことができた．実験の結果，提案するシステムは，高い精度で商品レビューの並び替えが行えることを確認できた．

This paper argues the applicability of two-dimensional simulations for a better understanding of the depth filtration mechanism and, in particular, the relationship between the electrostatic attractive force acting on particles and filtration performance. Physical characteristics of the filter media are that it has a porous structure, which allows fluids to pass through and retains particles, and is assumed to be deformed according to the interaction with fluids and particles. The flexible porous structure is modeled using “trapping particles” with spring and dashpot that can be charged electrically as well in this study. After confirming that computations of electric potential profiles are in good agreement with one-dimensional analytical solutions, depth filtration is simulated numerically both without and with the effect of the electrostatic field during the process. As a result, it is indicated that the moving particles can be retained by the flexible porous structure in the particle-liquid separation process.

水平偏波で無指向性の放射パターンを有するアンテナとして，Haloアンテナがある．Haloアンテナは周囲長が約半波長のときに共振し，狭帯域な特性である．本稿では，Haloアンテナにギャップ角の異なる4個の無給電素子を装荷することにより，3共振特性を有する広帯域Haloアンテナについて，電磁界シミュレーションを用いて検討した．提案アンテナの直径は，|S₁₁| ≤ −10 dBとなる下限周波数の波長に対し0.128波長であり，比帯域幅12%の広帯域特性を実現した．また，動作帯域内において水平偏波で無指向性の放射パターンとなることが分かった．

本論文では，感染症の簡便な数理モデルの一つであるSIRモデルの微分方程式において，感染率を時間制御することにより，総感染者数を如何に抑制可能か，数値シミュレーションにより検討する．具体的には，感染抑制対策等の外部要因の介入により実質的に変動すると考えられる感染率パラメータの時間制御を行い，総感染者数を最小とする最適な対策開始タイミングを求め，基本再生産数，実効再生産数や感染対策期間長との関係を調べる．本研究のシミュレーションの結果，とりわけ基本再生産数の大きな強い感染力のウイルスの感染の場合，感染率を制御するタイミングが極めて重要であり，総感染者数に大きく影響することが示された．
