In this paper, the influence of the personal mobility vehicles (PMVs) such as a bicycle and a dynamically stabilized parallel two-wheel vehicle on the pedestrians is investigated. A PMV is expected to be a vehicle for individual usage, which is friendly for human and environment, and which shares the space with pedestrians. In order to evaluate the safely and the comfort level of PMV, the experiments of PMV travelling in the mock pedestrian flow were carried out. The drivers evaluated the evade difficulty of the pedestrians and difficulty level of getting on and off for each PMV. The pedestrians evaluated the discomfort level and fear level of each PMV. It is found that the compact dynamically stabilized vehicle has high maneuverability and friendliness in the pedestrian flows. It is also found that the small wheel bicycle is less stable than the standard bicycle for drivers, however, the small wheel bicycle has higher acceptance for the pedestrians because of its compact size.
