    Tourism is an essential industry to improving local economies during the development of social globalization. A wide variety of tourist activities that range from sightseeing tours to bicycle rentals are increasing which helps to promote development in local areas. Tourism encompasses a variety of leisure needs which receives a lot of attention due to the increasing demand. There are also green tourism, industrial tourism and environment tourism. Green tourism has become more important recently. The appetite plays a role as the intermediary. The appetite has regionally, historicalness, rarity and contributes to raising charm of the sightseeing. The charm of the sightseeing consists of the various elements such as nature, climate, the history, industry, the scene, but the appetite is related to these elements and is tied to the life of local people closely.

    Due to intense competition among convention cities, a city must enhance its own attractiveness to be selected as a convention host city. An attractive city is a city with a high attendee satisfaction, where visitors are glad to be. This study focused on convention attendee satisfaction and developed demonstratively a cause and effect model (attendee satisfaction model) regarding attendee satisfaction, and found 4 factors: encounter with local food specialties, evaluation of convention facility, attractiveness of sightseeing, and accessibility to the convention site,that are essential to raising attendee satisfaction. We then discussed implications for the convention destination marketing using the attendee satisfaction model.

    The purpose of this study is to give a explanation about "Saka no ue no kumo" city planning in Matsuyama, as a case study, by the flame of 'narrative marketing' and the method of 'narrative planning'. As a result, it is explained that "Saka no ue no kumo" city planning is a case of "tourism and city planning" consist of 2 steps. First step is "city planning" that 'public administration' narrates a story to 'citizens'. Second step is "tourism" that the "city planning" becomes an episode which 'region' narrates to 'tourists'. In addition, "Saka no ue no kumo" city planning is the method of referring to the theme of narrative. It is different method from 'narrative planning' which focuses on the plot of narrative.
