The waste disposal facility, recovered boiler is installed for power generation and the combustion heat of the waste as a vapor. Toward the maximization of power generation, the advancement of the dust removal technology is important. In the waste treatment facility, the heat of combustion of waste are installed is a boiler for use in the recovery and power generation as a vapor, and towards the maximization of power generation, heat transfer surface performance maintenance of the boiler, that is the advancement of the dust removal technology is portant. Previously, the soot-blower has been generally adopted for the dust removing equipment, but it requires a large installation space, and in order to use a high-pressure steam to the dust removal, there is a rawback that power generation amount is reduced. To overcome these problems, paying attention to the shot cleaning system has been used in low-temperature heat exchanger of the thermal power plant for a long time to establish the dust removal techniques which expand the application range to the high temperature region of the waste boiler. In this paper, we report an overview of the shot cleaning system, and an example of the Iwate South Coast Clean Center.
