    Fiber Reinforced Thermo Plastic (FRTP) is used in transportation equipment due to its high strength. However, injection molded FRTP exhibits anisotropic mechanical properties due to fiber orientation caused by resin flow. In order to accurately predict the properties of actual part shapes, it is necessary to clarify the mechanism of complex fiber orientation due to flow. In a previous study, experiments were conducted using a flat plate and a complex flow model. As a result, it was confirmed that a specific flow direction orientation appeared in the resin flow where the flow fronts merge, and the mechanism of fiber orientation was investigated. In this study, we measured the velocity distribution and velocity history of the resin to verify the orientation mechanism. As a result, it was found that some fibers are oriented by shear flow near the wall surface and others are oriented by elongation flow in the center of the wall thickness, and that the orientation behavior and the factors contributing to the orientation are different for each. In order to control the fiber orientation, it is necessary to clarify the factors that have a large influence on each orientation.
