Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, which causes chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis and hepatoma, is an important disease all over the world. Clinical, basic or epidemiological research for HCV is performed in Japan as well as in the Western countries, however, mathematical modeling research for it is not. Mathematical model of the infection has become so complicated concurrently with the therapy advancements that it has become difficult for medical doctors to comprehend it. The aim of this paper is to improve medical doctors' comprehension of mathematical modeling study. Hence, analysis of HCV infection with the basic model and the multiscale model with Microsoft Excel is shown. Furthermore, estimating of values of some parameters with Solver is shown. The author would like this paper to contribute to HCV research.
