A remote laboratory system designated as “e-Lab” has been developed to conduct experiments on electrical and electronic circuits. This system is based on KOSEN MCC (Model Core Curriculum) and the derived experimental skill criteria, and it is applicable not only to KOSEN but also to higher education institutions. To evaluate the effectiveness of the system, 14 student volunteers participated in evaluation experiments. Although the system’s usability and measurement results were deemed appropriate, the validity of the acquired experimental skills was not statistically confirmed. In comparison to traditional face-to-face laboratory experiments, this system has not sufficiently provided the equivalent experimental skills. Therefore, further improvements are necessary.
