This paper presents an effective edge resonant snubber to suppress parasitic ringing oscillation due to the auxiliary switch which operates under a condition of zero current soft switching (ZCS)turn-off commutation with the aid of an additional voltage clamping diode loop. The conducted EMI noise performances of the boost chopper-fed DC-DC converter with improved auxiliary edge resonant snubber is evaluated and discuss from an experimental point of view.
We have developed a 50 W class small wind turbine that used a free yaw mechanism. Along with this,we have developed a 50 W class small wind turbine capable for home-use. We have investigated the free yaw mechanism for output power,number of rotation and temperatre of slipring data in a wind tunnel. The movement of the free yaw mechanism has been confirmed at wind speed of 10 m/s and up.
