The paper proposes effective and practical design method of high quality heating for Induction-Heating Cooker. The object of this research is to achieve the better heating performance by adjusting the arrangement of the coil. Moreover，easiness of coil winding is added to the evaluation basis. Finite element method is employed for calculating the heat distribution on the plate.
Multi-objective genetic algorithm is employed for obtaining the optimum arrangement of coil. The two objective functions that mean the uniformity of heat distribution and easiness of coil winding are evaluated by Fonseca's ranking method. By using this proposed method，we obtain the expected coil arrangement easily.
